Since they changed the "standard" we were used to it's going to be this awkward "should I or shouldn't I" for a while now.

Personally I don't think ZOS is going to go back to the discounts that we saw in the past, I'd imagine it'll only get better if they're not getting the sales they want from them. When they hit a level where they get good sales they'll hold steady on that.

I'm waiting, this is hardly worth it and absolutely not even close to triggering an impulse buy. In fact, ZOS is pretty much killing off any remaining impulse buy reflexes I had. Which I guess is a good thing for me.

Yes, the history for discounts is exactly what he or she said. There used to be better discounts, but they have gotten worse, including the holiday sales.This past year had a lower discount than in previous years and there is no reason to think that will change.

It isn't just the price on Crowns, but also how the price in Crowns in Crown Store are actually important as a whole. If there is sales on items in CS that compensate for less sale on Crowns, that might balance things out, but as for now it isn't.

And to have only the largest Crown Package with 30 % reduction in price and make it sound like this sale in total where as good for every potential buyer is really not what I want see. I prefer sales with a flat reduction of packages, so people actually can buy the package they want. More people can afford to buy smaller packages during sale and feel that didn't miss out on something. Small purchases adds up over time more then a very large one and the willingness to actually spend it on (more) items that might not be as expensive as the largest house will create more of a flow (cash/crowns) as it is more attractive to spend it on consumables or items that you would not have to think twice before purchase.
