So what do you guys think i'm pretty sure there will be a better discount on christmas or black friday However one can never be certain with these kind of things.
From your experience guys do you think there will be a better discount on christmas or black friday?

yeah but the auguest discount just hit this month and i'm wondering ^^ from someones experience

Honestly, I don't think we'll see the good sales come back. Too many players are willing to shell out for crowns at any discount - this sale is proof that it worked just fine for ZOS last time.

Buy em if you want them, the good ol days are over.

though in my experience christmas tends to be 75% most of the time anyway. honestly i'd rather wait for christmas and if it's *** ill wait for black friday
i have 2 chances which i'd rather take. i can't afford to be wasting money when i can get the game for less.

Since they changed the "standard" we were used to it's going to be this awkward "should I or shouldn't I" for a while now.

Personally I don't think ZOS is going to go back to the discounts that we saw in the past, I'd imagine it'll only get better if they're not getting the sales they want from them. When they hit a level where they get good sales they'll hold steady on that.

Its likely to be a Summerset discount for later in the year rather than crowns discount.

I'm waiting, this is hardly worth it and absolutely not even close to triggering an impulse buy. In fact, ZOS is pretty much killing off any remaining impulse buy reflexes I had. Which I guess is a good thing for me.

You're trying to get the game? Keep an eye on authorized third party vendors like GMG, they always have better prices than ZOS. They have had several sales where Summerset went for as little as $17. ZOS hasn't beat those prices yet and by the time they do, GMG will have even cheaper sales.

The onus is on us as consumers to reject the sale prices that are not what they once were. If they do not sell crowns at the current sale price, they will adjust them. If you want the old sales back, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY CROWNS. We need to speak with our wallets and let them know that we will not accept this. Ive stopped purchasing crowns since the sale before this one turned out to be bogus. Stand with me in solidarity.

There has to be though......a history for discounts etc. has to be a rythm for this ***.
Like even if i don't buy on august there's christmas and balck friday which is close to each other.so personally i'd rather wait for a higher discount

Yes, the history for discounts is exactly what he or she said. There used to be better discounts, but they have gotten worse, including the holiday sales.This past year had a lower discount than in previous years and there is no reason to think that will change.

Last time it was only 20%, this time 30%. Might wait till next one, could be more. Besides, I still have 24,950 Crowns unspent.

That is only true of the largest crown pack. The smaller ones were the same as last time.

It isn't just the price on Crowns, but also how the price in Crowns in Crown Store are actually important as a whole. If there is sales on items in CS that compensate for less sale on Crowns, that might balance things out, but as for now it isn't.

And to have only the largest Crown Package with 30 % reduction in price and make it sound like this sale in total where as good for every potential buyer is really not what I want see. I prefer sales with a flat reduction of packages, so people actually can buy the package they want. More people can afford to buy smaller packages during sale and feel that didn't miss out on something. Small purchases adds up over time more then a very large one and the willingness to actually spend it on (more) items that might not be as expensive as the largest house will create more of a flow (cash/crowns) as it is more attractive to spend it on consumables or items that you would not have to think twice before purchase.

Well although I still buy some crowns when they are on sale a lesser discount, I don't spend nearly as much as I would if they were at 50% - so Zeni isn't getting as much real money from me when I buy their fake currency - it's like any other exchange rate, if it isn't good, people will take their vacation elsewhere.
