Finally a long needed change for one of the:
"Here's your award for showing up" sets in this game.

A set that applies one of the strongest available debuffs without a cooldown, a 15 seconds duration and more often than not a proc chance of almost 100% (Don't attack the wearer is neither viable nor should a single set ever be so strong that you have to completely stop attacking someone)

Also people are exaggerating the duration is still long enough to keep a 100% uptime easily.

-magsorcs will barswap every 3.5 seconds to reapply curse or harness ---> 100% uptime

-magnbs also barswap more often than every 5 seconds to reapply harness, crippling grasp, healing ward and flex skill 1&2

The same goes for every other class, even if you don't do it on CD you're very likely to keep up more than 80% on with minor maim on every enemy

Also the proc change isn't as bad as people say it is:
In one gcd most people do LA+skill (+bash) that's 2 (3) opportunities for getting a crit that means the proc chance is:
    Crit chance*(1-crit chance)*2+(crit chance * crit chance)
With a 10% crit chance that means: a proc chance of 19%
    With 20% crit chance: 36%
    With 40% crit chance: 64%

That's still huge especially when we consider that we often get hit by more than one gcd while we're on our backbar

The new version is what Wizards Riposte should have been like from the start, it should matter more what people do on the battlefield rather than what they do when they go through the guild stores 2 hours before the actual fight.

It was one of the few good defensive options for mag. I would like the same standard applied to all proc sets and all the sets that give stam so much raw power.

Which sets are you refeering to?
Ravager has an 8% proc chance on direct damage
    7th legion a 10% one (+ 2 sec cooldown)

I can't think of any stamset that brings as much to the table defensive wise as WR did and still does.

Impreg, Brass, Pariah etc are all both useable for stam and for mag

Duroks falls into the same category as WR as being a set that awards you just for showing up, i can't think of any stamset that does it in the same scheme like those 2 sets.
I'd say magsets are a far bigger problem atm than stamsets.
Caluurion’s, zaan, skoria, moon walker (next patch) just to name a few

I'm not saying stam has weak sets but they don't benefit you as easily as so many magsets do

5 second maim followed by a 15 second gcd might need a small nerf.
