Oh and there´s another thing i just want to add.
I want the paywall back - subscription only, that would keep all the ones out of the game that have to come up with bizarre ideas to " improve" the game just for their personal benefits.
    have a nice day

You mean like gating access to the game based on ability to play?

The Buy To Pay / Free To Play + Micro Transaction model isn't going away - ever, because right now it is the most lucrative model in the industry.

If WoW launched today it would also be adopting that model; the only reason it hasn't is because it has, so far, managed to retain sufficient Subscribers - mainly because many of them already have many hundreds of dollars invested in the game.

Oh and buy the way, WoW - the most succesful MMORPG ever - sells Level Boosts.

Again most people either don't know what p2w really means or are ignoring it to support their own agendas/arugments.

Really who cares if someone is able to buy a level 50 character. You can already pay other players for power levelling. Its really no different.

Would you now like paying for power levelling to be bannable because it cheapens your effort? You should be happy you did it the real way. I bet your characters will have more skill points/mage guild levels too.

Not sure why mmo players in particular feel like they have to better than someone else but i guess that's just human nature.
If you want that you have real life where it would actually matter unlike a game lol.

I don't personally give a ***. But lots of people do care and I was just explaining why. You not understanding why people think and feel that way is a misgiving on your part though, not on theirs.

It's a general feeling towards any kind of power levelling, and people have been against it since it was first introduced. And although it's become more common to differing degrees in differing games, there are still a lot of people against using real time money to obtain significant content that they feel should be restricted and unlocked only by time and effort.

Many people apply the same philosophies in games and on the internet as they do in person and in real life, others see them as two completely different environments and situations.

Oh I understand perfectly. They did it the "proper" way and think everyone else should have to too. In every other game that has the ability to buy max level characters they dealt with it or moved on. The games are still running and doing just as well as they were before the ability to do so was introduced.

I think these players are the same ones who would use the term slap in the face to describe things they don't agree with. Eg I levelled the hard way adding the ability to buy a level x character is a slap in the face when i spent time and hard work to do it. You ( not you but in general) get extra points for saying its hard work in a computer game loi. Granted its not used in this game much but in plenty of other mmos the communities use it.

Right. You can just buy a max level character and play eeny, meeny, miny, moe blindfolded. Let's see how far that will get you.

I already made a Thread about this some time ago:

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/421885/crown-store-suggestion-level-50-token-guild-line-token/p1

Until this day no one could give a valid reason why something like this would effect their gameplay in a Bad way.

What is the difference between 6 hours skyreach grind and running 10 hours for mages Guild and skyshards?

Buying this from crown store would ONLY save time for the customer. He wont have any advantage over someone who did it the "normal way".

Only skipping content that you already did on 5 other toons. Ist boring to grind undaunted, mages guild and psijic the 9th time. Let me skip the content i already did and i dont enjoy and give me the option to jump to the content i like.

It wouldn't be the death of the game, but it would cause a lot of currently active people to stop playing and look elsewhere.

There's a market for heavy proper 'pay to win' games as seen by a lot of the eastern style MMOs over the years, but it's a different market. ESO already has seen changes in types of players as a result of microtransactions and loot crates, they just need to decide what place they want in the market - are they offering the same lowest common denominator things that get the casuals in and maximise profits at any cost, or do they want to be a bit more of a differentiator on the market, a very similar discussion and decision to when they changed from a sub model to free to play.

I would rather have an "accountwide ability to toggle" unlocking skyshards, mage guild books, and undaunted available for each individual skill line per alt. Maybe someone might want to level undaunted, but not search for shards and books again, and another person may only want to get shards again.

I already fully leveled 5 chars and the rest are sitting there at low levels, because doing those same things again and again is just too repetitious. Once we have leveled a few characters, maybe ca. 5 because there are five classes, we should be able to choose, manually, if we want to do each thing again, or unlock some/all of them as we choose. This way each class has been played through at least once.

People can read their skills and use them at end game just as easily as they can read them while leveling. We already have "some" people who invested countless hours leveling and grinding same stuff over and over and they still have no rotations and fail basic mechanics. So I don't see this type of thing changing much. Also, this doesn't necessarily need to be a crown store purchase omly, but could also be a part of an unlocking system built in the game for gold sink too.

I have nothing against someone wanting to begin at max level, but only if they have fully leveled chars already. This gives players a chance to experience the entire game still, but cut down on mindless repetition if they so choose imho.

all those people that play once or twice a week for a couple of hours….they would not be here and make such demands for high end chars or shared skillpoints or whatnot if the paywall ( subscription model only) was still there. cuz for their amount of playtime it would be not viable to pay for 6h playtime a week. Unless they dont have to care about that amount of money spent.
And furthermore, those " casuals" wont be much welcome in a guild that has a certain aim on progress, and ofc those players lack naturally the experience, the " flow" a regular player has obtained, be it group dungeons, trials, PvP...

Don´t get me wrong here, im not against "casuals" , but to serve their wants all on the so called silver plate and feed them things others have spent hours and hours and hours of playtime by just ONE click in the crownstore….??!! That´s a NO- GO.

And then again- this is not WoW and not even WoW 2.0. You can buy XP scrolls from the crownstore, you can buy XP pots from the ingame traders….you can stupidly grind with 40 others in Alik´r dolmens 24/7 ….

      edit.
and im well aware ( sadly ) that the business machine needs to be feeded, and the sub- only wont come back

Two similar people who don't have the time or desire available to invest in a 100 hour grind.

One of them buys an advantage and now has an advantage over that other person, who now has to invest 100 hours or the same amount of money to be level.

Many people consider that buying an advantage, many people don't.

Granted I'm cherry picking here, but it sums up your and others arguments against this.

Those who do dolmen/skyreach/trash mob grinding are no more likely to know their character than someone who could/would buy a leveled toon from the crown store. In fact, a requirement for a purchase like this could be actually having at least one (maybe two) level 50's and at least 300CP. That's just an idea though. Change isn't bad, and this wouldn't hurt the game. We already have 750's that have no idea what they are doing in dungeons, and they did their grinding like you suggest.

My personal opinion: I've been playing for nearly a full year. Now at CP460. I'd love to level a sorc but I've already leveled a healer, tank, two DK's, and a night blade. I'm so burnt out on leveling it isn't even fun. I can't even make it fun.

The quests are time consuming and are such a face roll you could get by them with two skills and light attacks. They reward nothing. I'm so over hearing Lyris and Tharn babbling and that stupid blind guy who started the whole thing. Molag Bol isn't even hard.

...ZOS could also put a class change token in the crown store.

Drathus Delenu- Dunmer magDk: Shehai Shatterer, Mageslayer, Stormproof, Peak Scaler, Clockwork Confounder, Orderly, Master Wizard, Cloudrest Hero, Undaunted, Dragonstar Arena Champion
      Thoronir Rolston- Breton petsorc: Stormproof
Zaakazha-Redguard stamblade: Boethia's Scythe, Clockwork Confounder, Maelstrom Arena Champion, Dragonstar Arena Champion

      Scrubs:
      Justinius Maximus Decimus- Altmer magblade
      Agronak gro'Mashul- Orc DK Tank
      Valerya Hawkcroft- Breton healer
      Zaaka- Imperial stamDK/crafter

Yeah i don't agree. I noticed no difference in the playerbase as a result of said changes. Except perhaps a reduction of the people who think that because they had to everyone else should too. Added to which in every non p2w game ive played the inclusion of the ability to buy max level characters has not resulted in an influx of max level *** who cant read what a skill does. If that isn't enough to find out what works you can simply run around and kill stuff to find out..

That said its fine to disagree. Kind of the point of forums - to have a discussion.

"Leveling", "skyshard hunding", "skill points hunding", if that makes sense to you ....well what can i say.....
I have 15 toons 6 of them "leveled" 3-4 years ago the old way by doing all lore maps + cyrolag....in other words...SDM game vices :)
The rest 9...zombie and dolmen gring...and then..... all above "hundings" in other words.... i became leveling zombie my self.

I would rather pay crowns and get all toons i like maxed out than all above stupidity

And how would you even know if someone had bought a max level character? Apart from the op who expanded his original premise to include cp etc, no one else is asking to get cp or gear included.

Not that gears hard to get lol. Just go and do dolmens/public dungeons/dungeons.

I want my game opening up with 15 characters (my preference at account creation) at 3000 CP, all maxed, all skills maxed, achievements completed, with all gears, costumes and everything... like EVERYTHING. That way I can only play for maybe 10-30 minutes, because I really don't want to play I just want the illusion of playing.

Almost there, but also please add in a feature where my characters e-mail me postcards and videos of gameplay action. I don't have time to login.

      Wow. Fast moving thread.

Speaking of WoW, I will say that one of the signs of The End, at least for me and my involvement with the game, was the introduction of the "Level 60 Boost". I strongly disagreed with that, even though WoW is nothing but End Game these days.
      jabrone77 wrote: »
With all the experience scrolls from daily rewards (awarded from free crates and just getting them themselves for a reward) on top of very cheap experience potions, how is it a chore to get to 50 these days?

This, plus the world scaling, is better than buying level boosts or top level characters.

Hopefully, ZOS sticks to what they have that works and doesn't do the Crown store level boosts or top level characters.

Ofc there should be a requirement in crown store to buy these things. You shouldnt get it right from the beginning.

      __________________________Backstories:_________________________

Ras Kalik the Vestige, a renown Redguard warrior; He has been blessed to save Tamriel from Molag Bal’s destructive Planemeld while reuniting the Five Companions. His further accomplishments after defeating Molag Bal, has been to stop the destruction of Morrowind, the Clockwork City, return order to the isle of Summerset and create a new king in Wrothgar and a queen in Elsywer. These events have made him a living legend and continue to lead him into new adventures throughout Tamriel, as well as into the hearts of many ladies including the Elf Queen, Aryenn. Over many years of adventurous travels, Ras Kalik had become a loner, until he re-visited his homeland of Alik'r.

Alik'r and it's cities were overrun by the undead Ra-Netu and therefore he made an allegiance with Alik'r's own Ash'abah tribe. These Ash'abah with his help, cleansed the city of Sentinel in Alik'r desert and it's surrounding areas of the undead brought to life by the Withered Hand. After rescuing Sentinel from the undead zombies, King Fahara’jad’s personal bodyguard the Goliath of Hammerfell, who was given this name by Imperials in the region; was asked to assist the tribe after learning of the defeat of the Withered Hand to the Ash'abah. Kalik promised Goliath he would task him with fighting living enemies on the battlefield if he so desired. Goliath being a Yokudan warrior wields a massive sword in respect to the Ansei, a gift given by the Imperial, Cinan Tharn. Not many soldiers are able to wield double two handed weapons, but Goliath loves to get up and personal in a fight, so he also carries a giant maul, both weapons laced with magical flames.

Jux Blackheart is a master thief that masquerades as a Bard at the Sisters of the Sands inn, with his younger sidekick Lucky Hunch for pilfering and gambling during this time. Jux was known to infiltrate any towns bank vault he came across and even delved into Ayelid ruins without detection. Kalik can vividly recall the night he met the famed thief. Jux found himself rummaging thru a slightly inebriated Kalik’s pocket for too long, on a full-mooned night and because of his greed and the glimmer of his golden armor in the moonlight. He lost his left pinky fingertip as a lesson! But in return, he gained a new friend, as it was his first time since a child being caught red-handed...

Upon arrival back in the Alik'r after many moons of adventuring, Ras Kalik ventures to Bergama. Visiting The Winking Jackal, he runs into Jux Blackheart, who introduces him to the coin game Crowns vs Forebearers (Heads vs Tails) and Golden Dwemer (RBG).... Jux constantly takes gold from the unfortunate thru theft or gambling, his biggest gambling victim is actually his partner in crime known as Lucky Hunch the Gambler. Lucky doesn't mind losing any gold coins to Jux... as Jux saved him from Altmer slavers in Summerset, by stealing a key and sending him on a boat to the mainland years prior. Lucky spent years in slavery with Khajiits in Summerset and picked up the art of subterfuge, using illusion magic disguises and stealing there.

Kaotik Von’Daemon an outcast, and a half-caste between a Breton mother and a Redguard father. Kaotik become a pariah due to his conjuration of Daedra pets. He was taught healing magic during his childhood years by his Breton mother. His father due to Redguard customs exiled him from the desert, sending him by wagon caravan to be a soldier in the war in Cyrodiil. He happened to meet Kalik while traveling from Alik'r, during this long caravan ride the caravan he was in was ambushed in Bangkorai by a group of bandits. Kalik by chance was also traveling thru this area on his Auridon Warhorse (which was bestowed to him by his friend, Darien Gautier). During this ambush, Kalik was able to rescue five hostages from the bandits. Kaotik was the first rescued, and Ras Kalik also recruited him to be in the Ash'abah tribe. These core Ash'abah tribesmen may never be seen together in travel as they partake in their own adventures but they always know what each other is doing; as they frequent a hideout in northern Bankorai. Their hideout an old Orc castle ruin, is kept watch by Nuzhimeh and she passes messages written between them, and frequently they also enjoy her company and her bed.

The other men rescued were a Dunmer banker, an Imperial mercenary and two other soldiers, an Imperial and a Breton Knight, stating proudly he was an Akavir descendent. One of the Imperials, Cinan, claimed to be related to Abnur Tharn the Battlemage of the Imperial Elder Council (One of Ras Kalik's mentors in the Five Companions). Cinan Tharn was really Abnur's drunkard treasure hunting illegitimate son. He was caught smuggling artifacts out of the Ayleid ruins in Cyrodiil and the elder of the two Imperials was Tyrus Septim a retired Imperial navy battle-mage (now a Lycan mercenary living in the city of Rimmen) and guard to the Tharn family. As much as Abnur Tharn hated his half-sister Euraxia, he dislikes his bas†ard son Cinan more. Tyrus now a ruffian and privateer had been paid by Abnur Tharn to watch over Cinan as much as possible. Cinan Tharn a drunkard, loves to drink at least a quarter barrel of Nord mead before he raids various delves and dungeons for relics to sell on the black market. Cinan also plans to one day, run an illegal gambling ring... which he thinks will net him more gold for his wares.

The Dunmer captive shackled to the Imperials looked familiar to Kalik from his time in Morrowind.... and he recognized him as Tythis Andromo a House Telvanni slave-owner and banker from Vvardenfell. During a rough interrogation to Tythis, Ras Kalik learnt why the bandits accosted him. The racist Dunmer was providing slaves as soldiers for the Three Banner War. The bandits were trying to negotiate a lucrative ransom for Andromo and the Imperials.... Kalik did not need any of this gold and he could never set Tythis free as he did with the two Imperial soldiers. His past involvement with slavery and war crimes, made Kalik's blood boil. He chose not to execute Tythis, as he figured the worse punishment for this former rich and opulent slave owner, is to now be an imprisoned servant for Ras Kalik and the tribe.

Herzog Zwei the Genesis a reknown Imperial/Akavirri battle-mage. His roots going back to Akavir through his mother’s bloodline. (His mother is descended from the Akaviri, through Versidue-Shae, and his Imperial father met her in Hakoshae, while traveling) Herzog earned the nickname "the Genesis" from his father as a child, as he was his mother's first born child, and last, as she tragically died in child-birth.

Herzog was seeking to purchase an artifact from Cinan Tharn, before their capture and was meeting Tyrus while in Rimmen, who introduced him to Cinan. This artifact being the Ayelid artifact; the sword Sinweaver. After their rescue and the exchange of gold to Cinan for the sword he decided to slip away before Ras Kalik could question who he was, and why the Akavir descendant really wanted that sword. Herzog was headed to Nagastani — An Ayleid ruin in eastern Cyrodiil. He had read in scrolls that the Sword would give him magical powers to meet his mothers spirit, if he performed an Ayleid ritual at an old shrine hidden there. Equipped with the artifact sword, he was off to start his own adventure but Ras Kalik, did indeed notice the sword however and instead sent a letter to Jux Blackheart (whom also was interested in Ayleid treasures), to attempt to find Herzog and acquire the sword. (*Azani Blackheart in Elder Scroll's Oblivion is Jux's descendant some 747 years later)

And so the Redguard, Imperial and Akaviri men parted ways ... While Ras Kalik went off to Elsweyr to encounter the latest threat to Tamriel, with Abnur Tharn and Sai Sahan - - DRAGONS!! Little did Ras Kalik know a few people were awaiting him in Senchal besides Sai. A necromancer survived his attack on the Withered Hand, while in Alik'r. The necromancer known as Auriek Siet'ka is also following him to the land of the Khajiits and Cacique the Sage of Ius a Shaman mystic who has become attuned spiritually with Tu'whacca (a Redguard God) and Ius (the Animal God), after being burned severely by the escaped dragons in Elsywer, is awaiting his arrival also. Aurik is a soldier of the Daggerfall Covenant that was introduced to necromancy while in the military, even though this magicka art is not spoken of openly by most of the Military leaders. He came to Alik'r and worked with the Withered Hand before Ras Kalik intervened on their plans. After the defeat of the Withered Hand, he aligned with the Worm Cult, and is constantly adapting and perfecting his necromantic arts.

After his journey to Rimmen, Kalik heads south to Senchal, in the southern regions of Elyswer. This new adventure will also put him on a path to meet a strange Redguard man. The stranger which was infected with an untreated Peyrite disease and also was the exiled from the Order of the New Moon cult, due to his sickness. He originally joined the cult to worship Laatvulon, the green dragon, mistakenly thinking it was the Daedric prince Peyrite. This confused and suffering cultist is known as Tsar al-Bomba and he is on a path to spread the disease. He was originally infected in Orccrest while recruiting members there. Can Ras Kalik and the shaman Cacique cure this poor soul, only time will tell. Little does Tsar al-Bomba know, that his infection is tied to Vampirism, and eventually the desire for blood will take over his mind. Senchal also offers Kalik his latest love interest... Aeliah. Whom he fondly led thru battles with the Dragonguard.

After the trek thru the heat, tropical and desert climate of Northern and Southern Elyswer, Ras Kalik heads north to the cold mountain range of Skyrim. His companion friend Lyris beckons for him with a letter sent by crow...

Movárth Piquine - a former vampire hunter (now infected), within the Fighter's Guild (and a secretive necromancer) was in Skyrim working with the Morthaal Guard. On a patrol mission he was caught in Frewien's ice curse outside of Morthaal with the frozen undead. Movárth's vampiric infection kept him from becoming an undead minion to the curse. He was able to use necromantic ice-magic to encase himself safely until he was freed with Freiwen, when the Vestige Ras Kalik broke the curse.

Uri Ice-Heart - brother of Urfon Ice-Heart. The twin sons of Atli and Oljourn Ice-Heart. The Ice-Heart family are originally from Markarth but now reside on the Jerall Mountain range near Cyrodiil, with their younger sister Araki. The twins had joined the Winterborn Reachmen while living in Markarth. Urfon pushed west to Orsinium with the Winterborn Clan, leaving his family behind. Uri stayed behind with his parents and sister to live in the family cabin for safety, avoiding the Vampire plague infiltrating the Reach. After news reaches him and he hears of Urfon's death... Uri leaves and heads home and is seeking vengeance. Meanwhile, his sister has also moved on to Windhelm to join the Fighter's guild. He will visit his sister, once before going to seek vengeance and she will craft him armor mixed with ice, called Stalhrim armor. Uri fearing death, after his brother's passing, falls victim to the convincing talk of Movárth at a Nordic tavern, and will also becomes a vampire.

Seriously, this is all alleviated by a class change token.

Respec your skill points, get the class change token, and wham-o!

You keep your skill points, lore books, and what not and you can try out a different class.

I stil lfail to understand why a person that can dedicate a couple of hours a week to a MMOdemands to be at the same level of hardcore players. I am not even questioning the fact that you invest those hours in an MMO. You spend them the way you want.

ESO is definitely casual friendly. Way too much honestly. But in any case, what you get is proportional to the time you invest.

P2W? Well according to me yes. While I am still level 3 doing the first quests in Glenumbra, you already have access to end-game gear and content. You have champion points.

I actually wouldn't mind if they went back to that. They never will though.

Zos probably would sell level scrolls, similar to crafting. Buy 50 and boom fully leveled. Got bored at 20, only need to buy 30.

That system used to exist in GW2 but rather than buying those scrolls from the ingame store, you would get 1 scroll each time you would level up on an max level character (kinda like when you hit cp "cap" and you gain new cp). And you could store those in the bank and use it on alts. With how Eso's leveling system due to CP is, i dont really have an idea how to implement it though.

how many players do we see everyday doing the dolmen loop? Its hard to say without actually polling people but I'm willing to bet a good number of them found out about it as a way to level faster.

Experienced players go there to level a skill or morph, or after turning a stamblade into a mag blade for example. So for those who are rolling their 10th alt, questing becomes an exercise in monotony.

There's already a good grind in the game to 50 and while the OP's suggestion is a bit too much, I really can't see why we can't finally have a class change token in the game. That's a solid middle ground between OMG NO! LEVEL YOUR TOON THE RIGHT (aka boring) WAY and the OP's suggestion of LET ME BUY A SKIP PAST THE BORING WAY.
