    I have had a UI bug, improved item, it became a purp necro piece until I equipped it, then the UI showed what it really was

    I have had a UI bug, improved item, it became a purp necro piece until I equipped it, then the UI showed what it really was

    I encountered this bug yesterday after improving some gear to gold and then equipping it...

    I had one purple set equipped and another set in inventory that had just been upgraded to gold. I unequipped the purple set and then equipped the gold set. But after swapping sets I realized that in inventory the set names were swapped on the purple and gold sets. I almost thought I accidentally golded the wrong set... This UI error cleared up after reloadui.

    1) Calm down
    2) STOP MAKING TICKETS, each one you made pushes you back further(or so I've been told). There is no reason to make 5 tickets for one issue.
    3)Log out and log back in, this usually solves missing inventory issues.
    4)Check your bank
    5)Check your character to see if they are wearing the items, not because you equipped them, but very rarely some items have equipped themselves as part of a bug.
    6)Check your inventory to make sure the items aren't there and bound. Did you also transmute the items? If so that bound them.
    7)Wait for your response from Chet.
    8)Don't get mad, Chet is a bot and his response will offer basic tips you probably have already tried.
    9)Repsond back to the main Chet sent and wait for a human.

    This happened to me once and i couldn't find the upgraded item for awhile bt i ended up finding it in my bank

    This would be extremely exploitable if it behaved differently. You could get a buddy, go to crag, and keep rerolling a node.

    The way the game works, cracking a node or other shared container, will roll the contents. At that point you can either take or leave stuff. Anyone else who interacts with that container will see your loot roll, even if that roll wouldn't be possible for them to obtain. This prevents players from trading a chest back and forth until it spawned the items they're looking for. It also prevents rerolling a node looking for aetheric dust or nirn. And, if they did find that, they could take it and continue trading the node. So, not something that should be, "fixed."

    That would be a nasty bug, i hope you saved a video and submitted it as proof - not sure if you can this on the xbox tho but if the ps4 can do it i guess xbox have a similar feature. Good luck!

    mostly sure that OP had some desinc and ui glitch which showed 100% while it was not

    once i've upgraded a piece of lv 6 gear for fresh toon to gold instead of making 2 pieces blue due to desinc of some sort

    just stop this histerics, take a deep breath, smile and move on =)

    You wont SEE action taken against botting, but it does happen.

    Things for you to do
    Stop spamming tickets, the more the worse,
    Check your bank and inventory and equipped items for the stuff,
    See if any addons caused the problem,
    Patiently wait for zos to solve the problem,
    AND FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY STOP USING ~ INSTEAD OF FULLSTOPS.

    Just yesterday I grabbed an Akaviri motif, Ebonheart pact motif, and Alinor furnishing recipe from my mail. The Akaviri motif disappeared.

    At first I thought I used it without noticing, but I got no notification the I had any new outfit styles learned. I did how ever have the Ebonheart motif notifications, so clearly it wasn’t a notification issue. This isn’t the first case of disappearing items, see: housing storage debacle, so I’m inclined to believe OP when they say their gear and mats got bugged to hell.

    I was only out 6k on the motif (probably a misprice) so it’s not a big deal for me, but upwards of 50k gold mats lost to bug is a big deal.

    I get where you're coming from. However, the severity of the potential exploitation is a factor. In this case, that's, "very."

    Also, there are plenty of systems that have been added which are mostly unexploitable, or with only minor advantages. For example, user homes do permit players to consolidate the set crafting stations into a single location. I'm not sure this would qualify as an exploit however, as the attuned stations were designed with the intention that they provide this functionality.

    Things like the outfit system open up visual customization to an extreme degree on the player. Again, this technically allows you to disguise your weapon sub-type (sword, axe, mace, dagger), though it won't conceal your actual weapon class (2h or DW.)

    Jewelry crafting (in theory) opens up the option to improve jewelry from normal dungeon runs to vet quality, though the actual value is marginal.

    Polymorphs permit you to conceal your character's race completely, though that comes with the tradeoff that polymorphs are usually easily recognizable. (The exception are the sewer polymorphs which can be a little harder to spot at a glance.)

    There's also content that can, or has been, exploited. For instance Asylum Sanctorum. I'm not advocating for that to be removed. However, the system proposed would be incredibly prone to abuse.
