Why do I have to sit through another 22gb download?

So, launch day rolled around. Congratulations, Zenimax.

I've been in since the 5 day early access. I've already downloaded it once. Why am I being forced to download the game again?

Someone said that I might be downloading the PST. I'm not. I have North America selected. I attempted to reboot the launcher and it still wants to download the game again.

So, I had my question answered by support. I don't feel like it's fair to anyone trying to answer this when I have a solution. I'm not sure if the solution has been posted before but I'll repost the solution here so anyone that shares my problem and finds my thread will reap the benefits without jumping through the same hoops I did.

    From the e-mail I got:
(From Terra, ES:O support. Thank you, Terra!)
    Greetings Gamer

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. We apologize you are experiencing issues with the game re-downloading. Listed below are some steps you can try to fix the problem:

First, players should make sure to disabling their anti-virus and firewall software as this may be causing a problem with the installation. Be sure to turn everything back on afterwards.
Next, players should run the installer/patcher as an administrator. This generally fixes any write protection or restriction issues that can sometimes cause problems.

Additionally, if players have overclock turned on, they should try to turn it off.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, pause the download and click on the Repair option within the patcher itself. If the Repair option is not visible, manually cancel the update. This should allow the Repair button to appear. If the launcher continues to update, click Settings and turn automatic updates off.
If players are still not able to get past that error message, they will need to uninstall the game completely, and restart the computer. Once this is done, delete hidden folders. To reveal hidden folders, please follow the instructions on the Microsoft website.

Now, open Windows Explorer and type C:\programdata in the address bar. Finally, find and delete the Zenimax Online or ESO folder. Then, re-download the installer from https://account.elderscrollsonline.com.

Players can also try repeating the above process and change the installation directory directly to the C: drive, outside of the Program Files folder.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, please reply with a copy of your DxDiag and MSInfo. Players can use this article if they require assistance with retrieving their DxDiag and MSInfo.

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

I for one am Livid about all this. I dont have an overclocked anything and after updating the game for the worldwide launch i have to download the 22 gigs again. Now I have tried repair THREE times now. Two of those three times i had a 5gig download... goes through it and GUESS WHAT? 22 gigs to download!.

I was patient for all the downtime for maintenance. I didnt rage like so many when the game was down for over TWELVE HOURS the other day. But this is too much. Game launch or not the very last thing i should have to worry about is redownloading this enormous game during primetime when i was playing it not six hours ago.

Needless to say I am upset and far from a satisfied customer. Even after I (hopefully) am allowed to play again I wont be forgetting this, and I know the many other people that are getting this problem wont either.
