    This is all planned, they will extend the event for a week to try and revive cyro.

    More like 8-10 minutes, I am normally in again around 9 minutes after CCP shut them down. Sheduled are 15 minutes for it to happen. The 30 minutes and 1 hour is for larger patches and expansions - and they will be announced before with an ETA.

    thats how most mmo are.

    ff14 started to have 24 hour maint for patches.
    Long time mmo player: 2004-[current year]
    Long time Elder scrolls player: Xbox launch morrowind.
