I've waitied today 15 minutes (which is not the best not the worst i guess?) for a vet pledge . After this 15 minutes i found a group which were already in the finale boss,leaving me with 2 options.
1. Help them kill the boss and reque .
2. Leave and find a new group so i can do all the bosses to finish my pledge which i did but now, i'm on cool down cause i queue recently.
The game needs an option where you can filter out dungeon runs already in progress.
FF14 has one of these I know. Some others probably do too.
So the poor guys waiting for their tank at last boss will never finish the dungeon? This doesn't work as long as you don't get the pledge for only killing the last boss.
It probably wouldn't change much - because the tank is likely just to leave anyway when he joins a run already in progress if he's not interested in doing the bosses again.
I can understand the frustration - but in the end I think it should be up to player if they want to join runs already in progress or not.
Nobody would join pledges already in progress. The solution is to reward the rescue team instead of punishing it. For instance by granting them the pledge rewards after killing the last boss.
