Max CP players "ruin" content for advancing players

There is no reason why you can't wear the same gear as CP 720 players. I was wearing BiS gear or as close to it as possible by CP 200+.

Are max cp players supposed to feel guilty just because they played the game and maxed out?

This is starting to feel like when certain players harassed anyone riding a crown crate mount...

I like the idea of a third difficulty level, though.

I am a CP340 stamblade. I follow meta as well as I can, work on my rotation, and without pots am around 20K on a target dummy. In veteran dungeons, if I am with a similar level DPS, I am pulling 40-45% dps, more on trash. However, if I am paired with a CP750, I am pulling 30-35%, sometimes even less. I'm working on VMA and am geared for beginning trials.

I'm starting to burn out on the game and IMO, the problem with ESO "endgame" is that the vast majority of it, you experience with CP750 players who already outgear the content. Instead of having a good time and feeling like you are responsible for figuring out and surviving mechanics, the "feeling" is that you are an undesirable appendage who is just causing it to take longer than it must. Worst case scenario, you die and the CP750 players dont res you (or dont heal you) because they can roll over the content without you. (Or how about the CP750 dps who runs as tank and doesnt give a **** about your or your penetration buffs) Its not a team effort when overgeared players are involved. In fact, overgeared players allow abuse of the mechanics and a cheapening of the experience.

The problem with the game, the "doldrums", the "burnout" is that high CP players overgear the majority of content you encounter, and instead of feeling like a valued team member, instead there is this (usually) unspoken complaint that you are not good enough. I don't feel like a hero, I feel like a useless appendage.

What can ZOS do about it? 1) I'm sure they won't do anything about it unless they see a bunch of people fading out and quitting in the mid CPs. 2) Put high CP players in different undaunted pools (?) 3) Reduce pledge rewards for high CPs who outmatch the content -- give them incentives to run more advanced content (idk, maybe have heroic dungeons where mobs get an extra 4k resists or something like that.)

    So what?
You are "only" lvl 340 if you get dudes with 750+ in your group then why do you crying like "i dont feel like a hero"?
With good 750+ dd´s you can make a dungeon twice as fast or even faster.
Would you prefer to be the dude with the most dps of your group and then you would need like 30 min for an easy dungeon?
Shall the 750+ dd´s now stop dealing damage so you can be the one true hero who kills the enemy? :D

When i think back when i was like lvl 300-400 then i was happy when i got good dd´s instead of ppl who didnt even know what dps is.
I mean is it really fun if a dungeon takes like twice as long as it supposed to?

If you wanna be the hero so bad than you should think about quitting the game and go for a solo rpg.
Then you can be the hero you want^^

Or you could play as a tank or heal.
Then you dont care about your own dps

You rather get carried? Or do you rather do a dungeon for a whole day with you and a bunch of other low level noobs trying to figure out mechanics or dps the boss down while the grass grow?

    Id rather get carried IMO
This, still its an refreshing tread over all the fake tank and horrible pug stories.
And yes most of the lower tire vet dungeons are easy for an reasonable competent pug group.
Some like BC1 or direfrost come to an shock to new players because of mechanic.

I have no issue queuing with an dd doing 20k dps in non dlc vet. Its more than enough to clear the content and also that community see as decent, lower would work but see it as wast of time as I have alsts who is good enough.

OP will also get into enough horrible groups of the time :)

Still he has an point but I think its more relevant for normals who has so many high cp players in them that all see them as an joke, because they are so easy new players learns little outside that they can getaway queuing as fake tanks while doing tank level damage, only use LA, HA if ice staff and so on.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

What's wrong with max CP people enjoying the same content you are? They have as much of a right to play the game as you do.
Also, all max CP people are not equally skilled. CP does not equal skill. I've met sub CP 100 people with more of a brain in DPS than people with max CP. They may not be the optimal CP level, have the best gear, or whatever, but they've seemed to practice what they do. On the other end, I've been grouped up with people who were max CP and have great gear, but were poorly skilled. They must have ground the character, CP, and whatnot, then to jump into hard content like they know everything.

Some ppl (and i guess ImmortalCX is one of theese) think that they play the game as they want and everyone else have to play like they want aswell.

He said max cp player ruin the game, i think player who keep crying around for no reason instead of working on it ruin the game

It's not called END GAME CONTENT so that low to mid level players can complete it effectively. It's for end game level players...

I can understand chests if you're fighting mobs away from it. But often times it's just who has the quickest lockpick.

ZOS is not responsible for how you feel about apparently unspoken things.

You should play with people who are at the same level and experience as you and not accept the fact you are being carried by people who have different game objectives to you.

Your experience is not more important than what sounds like the vast majority of others who you are playing with who presumably are happy doing it how they currently are.

Its because ZOS have never bothered to fully implement a fair and workable (for us) group finding tool, the problem can be seen in both dungeons and battlegrounds.

Its easy for them to just throw everyone into the mix and expect us to have a good time without addressing the imbalances.

And to answer the OP its also no fun for a max cp player to run dungeons with low CP players unless they are feeling particularly generous.

Having waded through Fang Lair a few times this weekend it was much more fun to play the content with matched CP players, charging through causing as much mayhem as possible and barely even being able to see through the effects with 750cp players is exhilarating... rather than exhausting with low CP group members..

    Sorry//...

Random normal dungeons shouldn't give 100K xp just like a vet. That would definitely mitigate the cancer caused by elite players looking for quick no-mechs no-tanks no-heals who-cares-you-do-the-quest experience.

Dolmens and World Bosses should, just like delves and public dungeons, should be doable one per day to a charater. That would also remove a lot of cancer preventing people from doing quests.
