I had crowns from eso plus. Didnt really see anything interesting in the crown store. Decided to get a 3 pack of crown crates for the first time.
Immediately got psijic horse exemplar radiant apex mount.... Was not expecting this at all.
What were the odds of that?

Gratz, i have spent way to much on crown crates myself. I have every single apex mount from every season but not one radiant mount. So imo they are super rare or rng just hates the cap out of me.

The odds are more likely you’re a sockpuppet than acquiring a radiant apex in three crates. Statistically speaking.

I've seen people guestimate apex rewards are around 0.025%.

Almost 60,000 crates have been logged. Radiant Apex seasonally varies from .1% up to around 2%, but with more crates tracked it seems to get closer to the lower end, which is probably the more accurate representation.

Radiant apex is 0.1-0.16% so you would need 700 crates in average. Apex is around 2%.

Umm.. I dont believe the Psijic Horse Exemplar is the Radiant apex.....Its just an apex mount. Radiant Apex's for these crown crates would be.....

1.) Psijic Spectral Steed
2.) Phantom Ice Wolf
3.) Green-Graht Ghost Cat

So i hate to burst your bubble but the regular apex mounts are not all that hard to get. The Radiant apex mounts are much more difficult.

that assumes the odds are static, if the odds have changed at any point it invalidates all the results and there's only one logical reason I can think of the odds haven't been published, TOS prevents me from commenting though.

Actually I did screw that up. But so did you, lol.

Radiant Apex is .10% to .45%.

Reapers Harvest crates being the .45% but also with the least amount logged.

The crown crate logger just reports the results as they are opened. In the realm of "anything is possible" sure ZoS could change the rates daily as far as we know, but why would they bother when they can just set it and forget it. The results are extremely consistent across samples.

They don't publish the odds because seeing the terrible odds may stop some people from buying, and they don't have to legally show them. I don't think that is against the ToS to say so, and is fairly obvious.

Regardles of what you call it, im happy with it considering I dont normally buy crown crates. Never expected to get any special mounts at all.
I prefer horses though. The spectral steed looks ugly though. A green senche seems weird. But the wolf doesnt look bad

It's funny I only get these mounts from the free crates. I got the shadow rider senche from a free crate and the psijic camel exemplar mount from a free psijic crate.

I never get anything good from crates that I pay for aside from scrolls and riding books.
