They told me I should contact the developer because they have serious issues with the game they need to sort out. Straight from the horse's mouth people.

It's a shame you didn't ask for a transcript or notes from that conversation. It could have perhaps helped ZOS isolate the error.
Personally, I would have loved to see a documented instance where a support representative used a superlative, irregardless of positive or negative, to describe another product in the absence of evidence to support that superlative. I mean, it sounds good, but what you're trying to argue as good representation is far more indicative of poor training or, perhaps, fabrication.
Do you have that rep's name? I'd be interested in following up with a few questions.

Sometimes when you try to log back in, it will say unable to connect to game server and when you get back in you sometimes you are put back at the gate and missing your tic and sometimes you are back in PvE as OP said missing your tic and having to enter the queue again.
These crashes (the screen freezing, loud buzzing noise, back at xbox dashboard) have been present in the game since I started playing this game on Xbox One almost two years ago. Since then, I have upgraded to an Xbox One X, put ESO on a SSD, even switched internet providers. NOTHING THE USER CAN DO CAN STOP THE CRASHES.

I would agree, I'm sure the devs at ESO would like the name as well, this way they could directly contact that rep so they could share the information that Microsoft has, but apparently ZOS does not. Also, I have yet to EVER speak to a customer service rep who actually has any knowledge of coding or programming, including those at 'help' desks.

When you have these massive groups clashing, large numbers of them with CP that require calculations, armor sets, pvp boosts, procs, so on and so on. You end up with the game doing massive number of calculations in a very short order. Its going to eventually lock up and cause mass crashing. Theres only so much strain you can put on something like that before it hits its limit.

Battlefield 4 was a *** iirc, Fallout 4 was the usual Bethesda bug fest at release, Halo: The Master Chief Collection was another game that created headlines for all the wrong reasons and so on.

Thats why the rep mentioned another likely cause is the "megaserver" which is unstable on xbox. She explicitly mentioned this as a issue of interest. There's not just 1 problem here. Thats why sometimes after crashing, you can't get back in on your first few attempts (ive even tried waiting after the crash just incase the game thought i was still logged in) and you get sent back to the title screen with the "unable to connect to game server, please make sure you have a valid internet connection" message. It's a plethora of things all warped together causing multiple issues.
Lol...why do people keep posting like this is exclusive or special to consoles? It happens to myself, guildies and friends every single day on PC/NA. It's the game servers in general. They keep pretending like they are implementing fixes, and nothing is improving at all...period point blank. Any white knight that comes along posting about their wonderful flawless experience can jump off a cliff as far as I'm concerned.
