Or at the very least it would benefit everyone to have PvP on its own "mega" server.

Since I'm dead somewhere out in the countryside when I crash, when I try to relog it tells me I don't have a valid game.
If I'm not valid, I want my money back.

I ported to BRK, started riding to sej. I joined my guild group, managed to type out a hello and crashed as i passed the boundary to sej.
I've been trying to login again ever since, id guess 30 some minutes now.
I log, character select, 10 minute load screen, error message, repeat.

A lot of the lag would be alleviated if people stop stacking in 1 campaign and instead spread out.

The new campaigns are a farm factory, which isnt ZoS fault, but it's still disappointing.
Still going smoother than last year though lol.
Saturday afternoon will be the worst. Then it’ll slowly trickle off.

The point is that it's been four years and people still blame ZOS when they also contribute to the lag. If they had spread out in other campaigns the lag would not be as much of an issue. It's such a simple solution.
Believe it or not, some people actually care about the outcome of a campaign they’ve been invested in for 25 days... Why on EARTH should I go to a different campaign when there are only a few days left in the campaign I’ve been playing all month? I want to beat EP in Vivec; if I go to one of the new campaigns, I’m not helping my alliance to beat EP in Vivec.
Ongoing campaigns should be locked during Midyear Mayhem to anyone who hasn’t earned a single point in said campaign. It’s REALLY annoying that I’m dealing with queue times that I usually don’t have to deal with RIGHT AT THE END OF A CAMPAIGN, because people who ordinarily do not give two hoots about PVP are clogging up the campaign for a cosmetic reward, or easy Vigor/Caltrops/Warhorn

Maybe you should go small scale on a dead farm server. Understand that those of us who enjoy AvAvA and play campaigns daily and to win are pissed that we spend more of our play time waiting to get to our campaign then actually playing.

See, I actually went into the new campaigns, and it was just a bunch of new players being lead to the only keep left, where everyone waited in stealth to slaughter newer players probably trying to go for achievements. You're correct, but it isnt exactly simple.

Yea the problem is the actual pvpers don't want to switch campaign, even though all campaigns have the same leaderboard system and the only difference is one is a 30 day and the other is a 7 day.

It was weird too, like Cyrodiil zone chat was completely quiet, I just felt out of place from my usual campaign.
