Some things I wish were in the game

I just wanted to share my thoughts on some things I wish were in the game or changes to how the game system works based on my experience thus far. Since there isn't a Feedback forum section, I'll just use this so apologies to ZOS in advance.

*** THESE ARE JUST MY OPINION, BUT IF YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK FOR THE DEVS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD ***

1. It would be great if all the resource nodes and locked chest were instanced ala Guild Wars 2. Since there really isn't a player driven economy in the game, I don't see any harm in doing this. And by instanced I mean each player has access to his\her instance of a resource node or locked chest instead of one that disappears as soon as someone comes by and "mines" it therefor you have to go somewhere else. Minor pet peeve of mine.

2. Better instancing of story segments like Star Wars the Old Republic. For example, say I am doing a chained story quest and the last part of the chain is to speak to a traitor only to find out that as soon as I enter this person's home I witness another player killing the NPC and the quest immediately completes. For some, this just saved them the trouble of fighting, but for others that are into the story, we don't get to find out why the NPC was a traitor. This type of story segments really should be instance a little better. Another example would be talking to a NPC in a quest and seeing 30 people running around or spawn camping the boss that I'm supposed to kill. Kind of takes me out of the immersion.

3. The option to turn on/off names above peoples heads (NPC and player).

4. Down the road, I'd like to see the addition of higher quality textures for those of us that have machines capable of running it. I'm not always in favor of games being built for the lowest common machine, though I understand why it's done, but having the option of higher res textures would be really nice.

5. Player homes. Why? Because it's an Elder Scrolls Game,; that's why. Seriously though, it would be cool to be able to establish a player home. Given the city layout, it would be difficult to place it somewhere, but maybe being able to access your home via portals like those in the game. The portal would take you to you to a small, instanced plot of land with a home. This would also work like a pseudo bank. Since the game is subscription based, there's no money lost in using your home as a bank and a good place to put your trophies. Being able to either collect, buy, or craft furniture for your home and land would be cool.

6. Can we not get pets that fight with thus like those vanity pets? Not talking about anything OP, but just something that will help out. I know you can summon on as a Sorcerer.

7. A central resource collection bank much like in Guild Wars 2 so that all the resources don't take up inventory/bank space. Not a huge deal especially if we can get a player house where we can dump them in.

8. Horse Armor anyone? I want to be able to either buy/find/craft horse armor. We had it Oblivion, so would like it here.

That's all I have right now. I haven't really touched the PvP part of the game yet so I may have more thoughts on that at a later time. Anyone who reads this, please add your thoughts and things you'd like to see in the game as either add-ons or changes. Thanks for reading this.

Good ideas but there are reasons why some of them are not doable. As for the player homes, I foresee this coming to us in the not-so-distant future. Instanced nodes I don't think I would like because it takes away the MMO aspect of it and could also dampen the economy if they introduced a player-driven one.
