Completed vMSA for the first time, and I have a question..

I completed vet msa for the first time. I'm a stam dk with 5 VO and 5 hundings rage. Here's my question.. I use hundings weapons and my weapon drop was a nirnhoned maelstrom bow. Is it worth losing the 4 and 5pc bonus of hundings on my back bar to run the maelstrom bow instead?

✭yes, vMA bow is still BiS for stamina, that thing adds so much dps is not even funny.
there are 2 things you can do
1) Keep hundings weapons
2) farm VO weapons
3) farm master daggers (vDSA) and use VO head and shoulders
master daggers will have less dps than a monster set, but you will have the hundings buff on both bars, which is better than keeping it on one bar only.
Ideally you'll want VO weapons, but I feel the struggle of farming VO daggers.
On the bright side, if you farm VO in HrC you can farm Advancing Yokeda as well, and that's a set that can easily outperform VO, even though you will lose the sustain.

✭✭✭✭✭You can without any issues lose the hunding´s rage bonus on your backbar. Won´t make a huge difference

Iki✭✭✭You could also use briarheart weapons + jewelry instead of hundings to have cost reduction from VO up all the time. Very similar dps than with hundings.2 -

just remember, when you cast endless hail you have to let it hit before you barswap or else you wont get the increased dmg ticks effect. Just keep it as the first skill on your bow bar rotation and you should be good to go!1 -

✭✭Congrats on your first clear, and an awesome drop! I got like 14 consecutive Ice Staves when I started vMA, it felt like.
Side note/question: Why do people abbreviate vMA as vMSA? :P

Second, some long time players refer to vMA as vMSA because they are comparing it to the older Arena: Dragonstar a.k.a. vDSA.0
