So the way I'm reading the announcement, the double drop chance on the heads is related to having the HM achievement, not running it on HM.

"However, should you have earned the Hard Mode achievement titled “A Crypt for Two" your chance to pick up the page is doubled. To earn this achievement, you must defeat the Ilambris Twins on Veteran Hard Mode difficulty. Future Monster Mask Outfit Style drops will also have an improved chance of dropping if you have that bosses' specific Hard Mode achievement."

So y'all running it on HM probably don't need to be running it on HM.

Got shoulder after opening 7th time. Opening it once more for sake of it and also had a second page dropped which was neat. 5 runs with HM but nothing yet

How do people not get that this is just to get us hyped up and buy the weapons from the crown store?

If you like a monster helm or shoulder, just wear it and don't put anything in the outfit slot. Boom! Costs you 0 time, 0 gold, 0 crown. It's like magic! Not really. Just common sense.

When they start adding completely pointless features to the game to keep us busy like monkeys. This...is not insulting at all.

So you suggest wearing illambris on a stam dps? It’s fine if you want to but I wouldn’t suggest it to ppl and no one has to go in and grind to get it but some ppl like to collect things.

15 keys to get the shoulders. Haven't tried the dungeon yet (since there was still miscommunicatoin as to whether is was CoH I, which would make sense, or CoH II as the pop up indicated.)

I am, however, still trying to wrap my head around the point behind using it as a outfit style?

Is it for subterfuge? Not like someone's not going to know what you're actually using after first proc.

It's not for the awesome look of most helms. There are a few that are ok, but this isn't one of them.

Lastly, the weapons look good, but not 2500 crowns good, especially if you can't craft the look.

Mild tin foil hat here, aside from obviously trying to get people to buy the rest from crown store, it seems a little odd to me that ZoS is suddenly trying to get people to burn up some keys?

this outfit is for special purpose

one can outfit own zaan/scoria with this and mislead folks wanting him/her to duel (or at cyro/bg's) -until first set effect

50 keys used, no shoulder drop. Not gonna waste any more (on this or any other future monster set style) despite sitting on a few hundreds since forever and having no use for them.

Have seen 2 drops in about 6 vet hardmode runs (the same person got both). Haven't tried for shoulder yet.

Edit 1: Just got the shoulder page on the 36th key.
Edit 2: Just got another shoulder page on the 37th key. lol

Had 9 keys on a character with the HM achievement.

Key #5 got me a shoulder page, and key #9 got me a second shoulder page.

Our Group did 8HM runs. We got 2, one on run 6 and one on run 8. I can confirm you can skip the first boss after you drop down if anyone was wondering.

Not bad for COH1, but man, this is gonna be rough on some of the longer dungeons.

Update: I dropped the 16 keys I had one one toon into the chest, got nothing. Considering that we have new shoulders coming out soon, I am probably gonna hoard the rest of keys and just buy the darn thing. I have dropped so many keys into redbeards chest over the years, that it's kinda painful to be doing it again. haha

15 runs vCoH1 I got no motif, only 2 people I ran the dungeon with got a motif drop.

Not even going to try keys for shoulders if i cannot get the head.

Glad I got my harmony traits a while back done, sounds like this junk is just going to end up diluting the loot pool. Also seems like even more of a slippery slope where styles are no longer craftable, but crown store exclusives.

1st run COH1 HM dropped the motif. Not too keen on burning keys for the shoulders. I'll likely just buy them if I can be bothered.

Yep. A lot of groups are getting into arguments over this, saying that you do need HM.

The wording is clear. If you've run it on HM at least once, you don't need to run it on HM again.

I think it was my 4th run and I was the first to loot it. Everyone had the HM achievement as far as I'm aware.

I got the shoulder after maybe 10-12 keys.

I thought ESO was trying to move away from making players repeatedly grind the same dungeon. It seems to me ZOS should just come out and tell us what the chance is, especially since this is going to be a monthly offer with real-money companion pieces.

Also, I'd like to suggest that the results we see in threads like this are going to be biased to show a low probability, because the people having trouble getting the item are more likely to visit the thread than those finding it easily. So don't lose hope if you really want it.
