The fact you can eventually craft 4 potions per drop, it more or less brings it up to scratch with the other nodes. With the double drop passive, you can sometimes make up to 8 per find. Just like you can find up to 7 or 8 silks/ores etc. In fact, you get more from a single alchemy node than the other nodes considering you don't get the full refined amount from the unrefined mats as happens on the other crafts.

Want more? Farm the IC and buy those satchels. PvP folk need to do PvE for certain things, we have to do PvP if we want to speed up our alchemy node collection. You can argue that the IC is more or less PvE now in some campaigns. Can count on one hand how many times I've ran into other factions when farming in Shor.

No. This is why I run everywhere I go, and only take shrines if I am running short on time. When I am out questing, I pick up every single node that I see between point A and B. It really is not hard to find a good spot to farm nodes. On weekends, I dedicate a few hours to nothing but farming for ingredients and mats. Plus, if you are doing your daily writs on all your toons that do them, you have to be getting at least a few surveys. This goes for all resource nodes, surveys help grow your supply immensely.

For me, I find that in Coldharbour has a ton of clothing material everywhere you turn. I find the western half of Wrothgar to have an ample amount of alchemy resources to harvest. It really isn't hard. If I am ever low on something (always low on alchemy ingredients and clothing mats) I just dedicate a few hours a week to farming them. Just make the time and get it done, and you won't have to worry about it.

Just buy the plants you need from guild traders.

There is already a huge oversupply of raw materials on the market. We don't need more.

I don't even aggressively farm alchemy nodes, I just pick them up in the course of my regular questing and stuff and I don't have any trouble staying in stock. I've never had to buy any. Having them light up, at night the countryside looks like it's just full of little lamps everywhere.

Yes, but... plants I'm not that fussed about.
What I want is MORE Mudcrab Chitin.

Atm it's only a chance for one of these blighters to drop one. Yet, every few days, I'm supposed to give 3 of them for the Alchemy Writ.
When I pick up a plant, I am guaranteed one, with the possibility of getting two with the relevant perk. Mudcrabs, I can kill a group of 3 and get one Chitin if I'm lucky.
Rather than spend an hour or more per week farming Mudcrabs, I just refuse to do those ones now.

Either double/ triple the drop rate, make it a guaranteed drop or else remove it from Writs altogether please!! @ZOS_GinaBruno

this i actually agree with. not that long ago i had over 200 chitin. now im down to 70 and thats with a little farming. i was not long before that 200, on 25 and then an event kicked in.
All they really need to do, is add this to hirelings mails. Im pretty sure everything else is in there.

Yes because then some people in the guild store would not exploit the shortage and charge astronomical prices that others do not have the gold for !

OR the replenish time of them could be a little quiicker and increase the amount you farm !

For instance a LUSH amount of a plant is approximately 4 as apposed to the normal of say 1 or two which to my mind is hardly considered LUSH !

I don't think it's really a problem. If you play only dungeons/trials, maybe, but that's what trade is for.

But absolutely YES for Mudcrab Chitin. I'm tired of how much it is needed for alchemy daily and how little drops. I have now 300-500 of each plant ingredients - and 1-2 chitin.

    Two words: Jewelry Crafting!!!

When it comes to nodes, what they really need focus their attention and energy on is to add separate jewelry nodes - instead of having them spawn at regular ore nodes. If they fix this, then we can start talking about possible changes to other nodes.

No, definitely not. Those who spend the time picking have a market to make a little bit of cash. Those who are too lazy to pick, can buy the mats or the potions.

Everyone is in such a hurry in this game...

You want more crafting ingredients without farming/buying? You know what?
How about you slow down a bit and actually PICK STUFF UP while you're running to this dolmen or that?
How about you LOOT THE BARRELS & BASKETS when you're literally running through those dungeons??

It's fine as it is. If ya'll want to hurry so much, you can bloody well pay for it.

I spend ten to fifteen minutes each day farming some plants. It's my morning routine basically. That together with surveys allows me to craft at least 1k spellpower pots each monday. That's obviously more than I need in a week and doesn't include all the other potions I can craft from picked up stuff. I have a fast char to pick up quicker, but don't even skip stuff like wormwood like many people do. I could totally half the farming time I use and still be fine.

If you're that addicted to pot(ions), you really, really need to seek a way to make it without them. Potions ain't, and have never been an important part of my rotation/playstyle. Only potions I really use, are Spell Power on my PVP magblade, when I'm supposed to "gank". And common trash pots (magicka or stamina) to build ultimate between fights on my nightblades. It's not like I couldn't make it without them, but anyway.
