Examples:
1: You see a chest or node but theres a mob close to it. You kill the mob and some *** takes the chest/node while you fight the mob
2: You fight a elite and its a close call, other player stands close but dont help, he waits till you die. (I always helpout when i see someone in trouble)
3: You walk up to an NPC for dialog and this other guy comes on his mount and blockes the view. (not a biggie but its annoying)
4: You walk up to an NPC banker/vendor/quest giver and there is always some other vicious guy already there with his flying pet blocking the view (very biggie and annoying).
Playing this game off and on since the release and I do like the game a lot. I also play(ed) other MMORPGs from wayback DAoC(wayback in 2000), SWTOR, LOTRO, Everquest2, WOW and others and from all those games I think ESO has the most rude and inconsiderate players.

There are more small things that players do (or dont do) that drives me nuts, but you get the picture. And it happens in all the other MMORPGs I mentioned, but in ESO it seems much worse then in WOW for instance. Is my perception right or are there *** in the same numbers in all other games aswell?
BTW: I play on EU server, might be better on US?

Side note ... I’ve noticed when posts like this come up you’ll get 90+% people saying what I just did and then someone will post 3 to 5 exact instances of people being awful to them. While there is no excuse for it, it does remind me of a meme I recently saw which basically said, “if you encounter one jerk in your day then you just happened to run into a jerk, but if everyone you encounter in a day is a jerk ... the jerk is actually you.”
Maybe it's just me... but I've had some pretty negative times in this game. A lot of it criticizing my bow usage and maybe not dealing extremely high DPS numbers. I've been kicked for some pretty stupid reasons. It's very intimidating to play in group content anymore for me. Shoot, I still haven't done DSA and I've played (console wise) from it's release. (I know it's a game, but man, personality wise for me, I take criticism seriously, it's just very disheartening *shrug*)
I try to be nice though. I've crafted for quite a few people, and try to be fair in price. I've given new players money for horses (before the leveling reward system) and crafted them training sets, given away holiday items for free.THEDKEXPERIENCE wrote: »If they are dueling in Cyrodiil they deserve what they get.
I've always thought so. I remember groups of people hanging out in the Arena District in Imp City and they would "duel". Players in my alliance would emote "no" as I'm sniping people. The area is PvP. Free for all. Of course this was before the dueling system was implemented. But seriously there are some less visited places in Cyrodiil, go there.

You can't always know whether someone really needs help or not; maybe they are practising and want to see if they can solo whatever it is you see them fighting. I can recall a few times when I was testing a build against a world boss, and possibly looking like I needed help because I'm not the greatest player, and someone decided to steam in and "save" me.

Ah, I may have made a bit of a faux-pas there then, I've sometimes tended to dash about closing them on the basis that "it needs doing". I didn't realise there was some etiquette involved. So I offer my apologies to anyone who witnessed my impoliteness and will be more considerate in future!Nightfall12 wrote: »...But some very nice folks in game like when you are at an out of the way dolmen and its just like 4 or less and everyone waits to let others hit the pinions.....or even waits for those slow runners to get there and click the last pinion so they can snag some credit..
