The reason I suggested re-attuning each station type eg woodworking, clothing and blacksmithing individually was so that people that have already collected most stations are not left feeling that they wasted their gold/ writs. The way I suggested changing it would mean that people could still keep all the stations they worked so hard to collect and not need any extra housing slots as new ones are introduced in the future. Im not saying your idea isn't great but it would mean zos would have to implement a whole new system and the old stations would then be rendered obsolete and that would be unfair to all the big crafting guilds out there or the individual collecters of crafting stations. I doubt they would get any compensation for those crafting stations that are no longer viable but just sit there taking up space in their guild halls or homes. I was trying to come up with a reasonable solution , one that wouldnt upset players. I myself would love to convert a couple of crafting stations that I no longer use but i dont want to destroy them as they cost me mnay writs to get and gold in some cases. Thanks for reply and yes i like your idea aswell.

What you work for and earn with new sets should simply be added to a menu at the crafting station for that craft. Want to make a Seducer bow? Open your attuned wood working station and select Seducer from a drop down menu.
The cost and effort to add new sets would be the same but the 'deliverable' would simply be an addition to your attuned table's (for that craft) menu. This would allow full service guild halls to look like darn guild halls instead of warehouses full of tables.
It would only take just a bit of initiative and ingenuity for the devs to transition older players with lots of tables over to such a streamlined system. And what large guild would not appreciate opening up a few hundred slots in their guild hall? Not to mention the scalability as the game continues to grow and add more sets via chapters and possibly more crafting skills like jewelry.

The reduction in furniture slots is a great idea ... but I'm a little worried about the actual up-front cost of a "universal" attunable crafting table.
Even if you were to count half of the craftable 5-piece sets (21 out of 42), that's multiplying the current voucher cost by that factor: 250 vouchers x 21 = 5,250 vouchers. In gold that's over 2.5 million ... which is outside the price of a lot of players. 5 million+ if you factor in all the crafted sets.
I think this idea needs some more thought.

Maybe because some of us want to have attunable stations at our private homes, but we aren't f***ing rich to buy them all, and just want a few?Why the hell would you want to re-attune crafting stations? I love the fact that my guild's house has EVERY crafting station in the game.
Why the hell would you want to re-attune crafting stations? I love the fact that my guild's house has EVERY crafting station in the game. It makes doing master writs trivial. I just wait until I have around 30 master writs, then head to the guild hall and complete them in about 5 mins.
wishlist14 wrote: »Zos can you please make the attunable crafting stations be re-attunable so we can convert the older set stations into more useful sets....we would still have to travel to the new crafting location to reattune them with a more suitable, viable sets. This would free some slots in our guild halls or homes and also would mean that as the game gets bigger and more stations are added guilds are able to offer more viable crafting stations. I'm wondering if you can convert the stations we already have rather than introduce a whole new type of crafting station. I'd be interested to know if anyone likes this idea. Think about it this way: we keep getting more and more new crafting stations but no extra house slots so I've come up with a practical solution here. Some of the sets that have died or are now useless that people have invested stations for are just a dead waste of space. I understand people also would like to see those useless sets gone from the game but that is a whole other subject. Anyway thank you for taking the time to read this.

Even with time saving addons there's no way in heck you do 30 Master Writs in 5 minutes.

Time me.
Edit: that being said, attunables will not be changed to be re-attunable, especially since they are bound once attuned. I WISH we could get something besides individual stations. We're up to almost 250/700 slots in a guild hall JUST for all the sets, not to mention target dummy, mundus stones, transmute station, outfit station, regular crafting stations, and oh yes, DECORATIONS. There will come a day when we reach 700 slots just for sets...
