Repentance Tweak

Can it be made through a passive or something, that if a Templar in your group uses repentance you get the heal and the Stam if you are in range. It currently promotes arguing and less stamina Templars in groups because of the way it is currently working. Set Templars free! #FreeTemplars #RepentEveryday

The way repentance works right now is it is very antisocial, which is not in the spirit of the game. I often hear people arguing in discord who is able to be stamplar both in pve and pvp since only one of them can use repentance viably. If a templar decides to tank, then no stamplar is allowed in that group, which limits synergy.

Yeah I agree. It is a problem, just allow other Templars in group at least to get the Stam back. Sucks that it is the only spec that can't really play duo in PvP or reliably group in pve. Templar already doesn't have any good Stan return passive or ability like every other class does. So throw them a bone with repentance until that is fixed thank you! @ZOS_Wrobel

in the last rep meeting wrobel mentioned some stamina sustain changes coming with update 20 for the templar. he also mentioned, that this change will come hand in hand with some kind of group support or sustain ability, so we may see some changes regarding repentance (stamina steal?). its only a guess, that those changes will include repentance, but something will come.

I honestly don´t understand the issues people have with stamina templar (PvP point of view). They´ve good damage, have quite good survivability (+ a way to cleanse DoT´s is always nice). And with the recent changes to rune stamina Templars are really hard to kill.

While I don´t know what changes the dev-team has planned I hope they won´t overdo it on the sustain part.

Well they are good. But shoehorned into building for alot of sustain. Moreso than other classes. Are they strong sure. StamDen StamBlade are obviously better at burst and sustain. They are fine, but sustain is just a big issue. With repentance they are good enough. But only one stamPlar can use it. So they usually won't group with more than one stamPlar, as they fight over who can use it. And then magPlars that block alot also want to use it. So it's just fix that.

Then in PvE. They are the only tank with no form of Stam return. Sorc being the next worst but a dark deal can be slipped in. But dk warden and even nightblade with siphoning has Stam sustain.

stamPlar just wanna be able to group together. To have a little build diversity. And the such. But they are fine and dandy in PvP.
