2v2 Tournament - Sponsored by the Aetherius Community - NO DOUBLE BUILDS(For example no Stamsorc, Stamsorc duo | Stamsorc, Magsorc is fine)
BEST OF 3
Finals being BEST OF 5
ENTRY FEE IS 20k per Team
Every fight has a limit of 7.5 minutes - After that Judges will decide which team was the most dominant one(Based on how many defensive Ults have been used and how low have players dropped on Health)
PRIZEPOOL IS 3000000 GOLD + FEES - Prizepool might grow even more!
Winner takes 70%
2nd Place takes 20%
3rd Place takes 10%
RULES:
Everything listed is banned

Other Stuff:
Underlevelled Characters
ALL sources of oblivion damage (Shieldbreaker, glyphs, Knightslayer, etc)
Cost poisons / ult poison/detecion pots
Vitality/lingering/detection pots
Max 30k HP. (+ 5% is fine)
Max 1 Damage proc set(So things like Velidreth, Ophidian, etc.)
MAX 1 pet(1 pet + Attro is fine) - That counts for sets aswell
Resurrections

Sets:
Cyrodiils Crest
Meridia's Blessed Armor
Reactive Armor
ALL Defile sets (Thurvokun, Durok's Bane, Fasalla's Guile, etc.)
Troll King
Zaan
Malubeth
Earthgore
Masters Dual Wield

Skills:
Sorcerers are allowed to either use Daedric Mines or Storm Attronach but not both
Dragon Fire Scales - allowed
Piercing Mark
Soul Assault - 1 Soul Assault per Team
Steel Tornado
Corrosive
Guard

Trashtalking is ok as long as it doesnt personally target the enemy player - TRASHTALKING IS A PART OF SPORTSMANSHIP - only excessive trashtalking and intentional toxicity will be punished
Breaking any of these rules or being exceptionally toxic will lead to a kick from the Tournament

    We think that if one of the Teams tries to make the enemy team look bad, that doesnt have to necessarily hurt them, it could heat up the situation instead

    Ofcourse if the Players are feeling harassed then we will address that

    It's because 90% of ESO players think you OWE them. You MUST do tournament and they MUST win it with THEIR builds

    I would rather keep it private for now, as you mentioned there is alot of Salt going on and mentioning the names would cause a bit of drama

    Exactly what i was thinking whoever made these rules must be getting packed up left and right xD

    Rules are for scrubs. Once u make that many rules you are catering to a specific play style/build type.

    Plus how would you do a 2v2 tournament? Seems like it would be a mess..Plus two teams from same alliance never have to duel? What if the two best teams left are both from
    Dc alliance?

    I like the idea, but I honestly think its kind of biased to ban piercing mark. So if I want to not let a cloaker ruin me then I need to be able to cast magelight at 5k magicka every few seconds?!
    Come on dude..........

    Like if a NB is so worried about stealth then let them incur the cost of purge, it is their playstyle so why should every NB whose not a cloaking NB have to go without mag resources by needing to cast magelight constantly?

    And no I don't think anyone is hating on your tournament just cause they can.. Its a cool idea but banning counters is the wrong way to go about this IMO.
    If someone is using a specialized set of tactics then let them slot a counter against their own counter. (Purge)
    (I'm on XB so this has no bearing on me)

    @TheRealSniker hmm I don't really see why you would ban master DW also u ban all major defile sets yet nbs can use incap strike (im a perma stamblade btw so yeah it comes from one) same goes for piercing mark...no offence its ur tournament and all but I don't really understand why you would forbid specific skills...I understand sets and stat restrictions but skills...common also since no mention I assume healbots are allowed?

    Some suggestions:
    1. Ban sloads explicitly (I know it’s obliv dmg)
    2. Ban 2x of the same defensive ult (for example, both players can’t backbar Resto Ult...
    3. Unban steel tornado
    4. Unban soul assault
    5. Ban LoSing
    6. Consider banning rune cage


    As is you’re giving the match to mag if they decide to run 2x Resto ult. Mag sorc and mag nb will be too deadly with rune cage guaranteeing hits during their burst combos and the potential to have close to permanent uptime on Resto Ult.

    Its not the first 2v2 Event being hosted

    Usually same Alliances never fight against eachother, although if it will come to 2 best teams being from the same Alliance we will try making the Players relog, if that doesnt work then the prizepool will be split among 2 teams

    Too many rules. I'm for banning a few sets that are busted, but come on skills? That's just too much, why don't just just ban spammable and shields, and no one can vigor...
