The lack of a stun is the biggest problem obviously but I can accept it might be out of the scope of this next patch. Although I have a suggestion for the stun below.
Other than that, magdens biggest issue is how easily avoidable the damage is and how many short duration buffs there are to keep up which restricts how much time u can spending throwing out this easily avoidable dps. To help with that I suggest this:
1) Increase the duration of bird of prey to at least 18 seconds. 10 second duration is clunky.
2) Increase the magicka return of blue betty. Right now its 258 magicka recovery. Siphoning attacks with no light attacks and including the cost is 400 recovery (600ish with light attacks) and it heals you so when you compare these two abilities its clear blue betty should adjusted. Right now its 4027 magicka over 27 seconds, id recommend 5527 over 27 seconds.
3) Reduce the cost of deep fissure. After losing its stun the cost was never adjusted to compensate. Its much more expensive than the stamina morph. This will also help magdens in pve because sustain is a big issue there as well.
4)make natures embrace pull instant and fix the rubberbanding. right now there is some delay which often results in terrible rubberbanding. this is our most fun and interactive skill but the performance on it is total crap. back in cwc patch this skill never failed me once. when dragon bones came out it started rubberbanding a bit but now this patch its extremely unreliable.
5) growing swarm morph of fetch should affect 5 players around the 1 cast it on every cast and not just after the dot has ended. comparing fetcher as a whole to other class dots like cripple makes fetcher look extremely underwhelming. Making it more reliable as an aoe would give it its own niche as a class dot.
these changes will go a long way without in making the class too strong. i know alot of people will say this wont fix them because they still dont have and they are right but im just suggesting things that could quickly be added to next patch. My last suggestion is:
after landing deep fissure the next bird should be undodgeable to give some reward for landing easily avoidable damage. also hitting someone with deep fissure while bird of prey is active should give a power lash style proc from targeting an enemy affected by breach from deep fissure that is a stun that doesnt deal damage.
