Converting Armor to Imperial look

So I converted 2/3 pieces of armor from the look that they were to the imperial look to make my character look a bit more uniform, for the time being until I found an upgrade. But now whatever armor in is placed in those slots the look does not change. I know it gave me a warning that the armor could not be converted back which was fine, but i didn't know it was a permanent change.... Any thoughts?

    I have not played with this.

    Are you saying it essentially converts the slot and not the piece? That would be lame and make me not want to ever use it.

    It does not change the entire slot, I've changed my Torso piece to imperial several times as I've replaced previous pieces.

    It can perhaps be said that OP simply did not realize the new piece of gear is already imperial style and therefor by happenstance cannot be made into imperial again :)

    No its been several different switches since then and going from heavy/light/medium my toon just looks exactly the same lol

    Might it be that you still have your disguise equipped? I did that in one of the betas ;)

    If your character looks exactly the same when switching between Light/medium/heavy gear then it's a graphical issue. Try to see if its fixed when you log in by trying on a bunch of different gear. I can however assure you that the change to imperial option does not lock in your look for a slot.

    I think that not all gear can be changed, like certain named quest rewards and set items. could be wrong but this is what I think I have been seeing.

    *update* I just noticed that you didnt see a change even with different armor types, guess I ddint fully read your post does sound like a bug.

    that does not sound right at all light/med/heavy all have different looks
    bug report time and it is paperdoll and world neither of them change

    No disguises were equip checked that as well. Yea def thinking it is a bug it's quite annoying lol
