You have to mean dungeons... there are zero sets from trials that I can think of that are even remotely useful pvp.
^ that's me xDSome gear that is good for PvP is only obtainable by trials, but not all PvPers like trials.
You are right, but i could use this set for my heavy attack magblade/magDK: https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Infallible+Mage+SetYou have to mean dungeons... there are zero sets from trials that I can think of that are even remotely useful pvp.
There are a few that you see occasionally. Defending Warrior for example.
Maybe the solution would be to not bind gear on pickup so any gear could be sold in guild traders?
What about venom and advancing yokeda from hrc? Could be decent sets.

This is the first time I've ever heard about anyone running defending warrior in any content tbh... but why bother with a trail set when you can go with livewire that is an overland set from clockwork city which is loaded in traders, to get more group utility out of it? If your running a tank in pvp your more than likely running with a group with 1 or 2 dedicated healers. Why not give them the ability take advantage of off balance for the 8% extra damage plus dual wield if they are using it?
Im not familiar with the sets above but in PvP you do constant light and heavy attacks between skills anyway. Ulti regen and to get resources back on heavy attacks. Plus its basically free damage in between skills.

Advancing is a bit useless in pvp because of crit resistance. Ophidian venom would be better if it's damage was higher. You looking at 1.5k poison damage before mitigations just from battle spirit halting damage. My personal opinion sets like these that require constant light and heavy attacking in pvp are not all that good. The only exception would be zaan because of it's damage is worth it's condition.

Joboo is on the money.
Both have their niche use cases and are popular for good reason.
Crit is especially valuable in pvp. Most folks run under 3k impen.. Which doesn't even cover the base 50% damage modifier.
Extra lol @ anyone who doesn't use light/heavy attacks or bash weave in pvp...

I never said ignore light/heavy attacks. The sets that require you to proc it off of those tend to not be as good as any other set that you can find anywhere else. Zaan is good because of it's damage it provides. Something that has a chance to proc low damage that will end up being mitigated even more from cp is not. That's also of those attacks even hit since tracking on light and heavy attacks is a bit wonky with in game factors like latency or your opponent making themselves harder to hit through jumping and kiting.
The reason why I say advancing yokudin isn't that good for pvp is having to maintain that stack(listed reasons above) and it would be better to build for raw damage as shields cannot take crit damage. It's useless against any mag character with shield. Plus crit damage will do more damage when you build raw damage. If you build right you should have 40-50% crit in pvp which is enough. Your not fighting for the best time to kill all the time on a dps check, your fighting to beat the other guy whether through outlasting or bursting them down.
Edit: side note, the majority of people on xbox can't seem to grasp the concept of weaving pve or pvp
Im sure there are some PvE things that are only obtainable in Cyrodiil (Im guessing).
Some gear that is good for PvP is only obtainable by trials, but not all PvPers like trials. Im sure there are some PvE things that are only obtainable in Cyrodiil (Im guessing). Why not make a system so that Trial gear is obtainable by PvPing and some things in Cyrodiil are obtainable by PvEing??
Why should people be force to a play certain aspect to get the best gear for their play preference?
Wouldn't that be fair to all?
Thanks

The golden vendor covers monster sets as well as gold jewelry from overworld and dungeon content.
