This one tried to tie an dagger to end of her tail, it did not work.it hasn't happened since launch, so it probably won't ever happen.
too much work, too much re-balance.
If it does ever happen, i want 7 skill 1 ultimate.
The reason there's the number of skill slots we have access to is due to them wanting ESO to be on consoles.
Consoles use controllers with a finite number of buttons.
I wish it weren't the case but there it is.
OP IS JUST WRONG. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH OF A PAIN IN THE ASS THAT WOULD BE TO PROGRAM IN FOR THE CONSOLE GUYS?
Give the devs a break guys. Like a KitKat, not a nose.

Supposedly new console players dont have the skill level we had back in the 90s and cannot press two buttons at the same time. Thats how we got around limited buttons. Or combo buttons for combos.
Turn one of the shoulder buttons, or both, into "hold to shift" buttons and suddenly you get a whole new action option for ANY button on the gamepad that can be pressed at the same time.
It works great for DC Universe Online. I would definitely like that sort of skill swapping rather than the badly designed weapon swapping we have here to do the same.

True, but I keyboard binds make more sense to me. While probably common to controllers, the following keybinds are pretty much common among all MMO games
This game is for consoles too, but you can't have IQ higher than 55 and play console, so you're out of luck, buddy.

Dude... copy/paste some code to add a 3rd skill bar for all I care. I don’t “get breaks” at work, so why would I expect them to deserve breaks?

It does come down to consoles. However, we have done fine for 4+ years as it is.

Y+B = Use Synergy, so why can't X+A (or A+B or X+Y) = new skill slot?
But yeah, That screenshot is the reason I can't game on consoles. WAY too many button combos to remember.

Nope, no excuse because of consoles.
FFXIV runs on PlayStation and PC and some of the classes have upwards of 25 buttons in normal combat scenarios yet somehow Square was able to have this work on PlayStation. Also, PC and PS play together so if this were an issue it'd be noticeable.
