That’s all I ask. I’ll never ask for anything again (on here) if you made this happen.

Idk how much severe anxiety I’ve had by trying to pick my 5th skill on each bar!

it hasn't happened since launch, so it probably won't ever happen.

too much work, too much re-balance.

If it does ever happen, i want 7 skill 1 ultimate.

I want 2 less skill slots... But that's me.

Or the ability to have mouse-clickable skills.(Not hot keyed, hover-over, actually seeing what I'm clicking, mouse-clickable skills)

i would be really happy with a addinional slot for toggles. like inner light, bound arnaments, some freaky pet i dont know. everything that needs to be double barred.. i know they would have to do some tweaks on existing skills to be effective in a "toggle slot" but i guess these changes would be far easier to implement than an additional skillslot

I just want to be able to fit Restoring Focus on my build... but it’s not possible.

1 slot more. That’s it. Please!?

The reason there's the number of skill slots we have access to is due to them wanting ESO to be on consoles.

Consoles use controllers with a finite number of buttons.

I wish it weren't the case but there it is.

As annoying as it is, I think that's the point. Balance.

If we had more we could do too much. There's normally a way to solve it now between pots, slots, poisons and gear. Move your buffs about.

Yes, I’ll want more... but I need only 1! Lol

The only place with allotted control space to hold more skills is the quickslot wheel. But it's so cumbersome to maneuver that I wouldn't really see it as a combat enhancement. Just a potion replacement.

I don't see the Ultimate slot being used, either, as it's designed to track accumulated points for that particular skill.

Then how do we have a slot for an ultimate?

Bash is both triggers. Ultimate is both bumper buttons. Synergy is Y and B.

Eso was designed with the button limitations of a controller in mind. And our controllers are running at about 98% capacity.

I can see why they would not add a skill slot due to control system issues perhaps.

    But...
...could we maybe get an "automatic" skill slot? For a buff skill that activates on a preset condition, like when entering combat?

Nope, no excuse because of consoles.

FFXIV runs on PlayStation and PC and some of the classes have upwards of 25 buttons in normal combat scenarios yet somehow Square was able to have this work on PlayStation. Also, PC and PS play together so if this were an issue it'd be noticeable.

Supposedly new console players dont have the skill level we had back in the 90s and cannot press two buttons at the same time. Thats how we got around limited buttons. Or combo buttons for combos.

Explain to me how you're going to "mouse click" skills. You don't have a mouse pointer in this game unless you hit '.' Then you're not moving...

    Y+B = Use Synergy, so why can't X+A (or A+B or X+Y) = new skill slot?

But yeah, That screenshot is the reason I can't game on consoles. WAY too many button combos to remember.

X+A, and the “Quest Cycle” (R directional pad) can be gone... that’s dumb, and useless.

Who tf just uses that button to cycle through quests with urgency?

So, take your pick... but by those standards it gives us room for 2 more abilities per bar.

Lol, its bad enough having to bar swap while doing your rotation. Try managing to pull off X+A. The D-pad is seldom used outside of a few options. I doubt my d-pad remembers it exists outside of ESO. Bar Swap, potion off cooldown...

This right here. If FFXIV on PS4 can have UP TO EIGHT 16-button action bars, there's no reason ESO can't either.
