✭✭✭✭✭I personally love the fact that, unlike in most other games, male characters can wear female costumes, and vice versa. That's part of the player freedom that made me fall in love with the franchise in the first place.
However...the fact that certain accessories and hairstyles are gender-locked is something I have been complaining about for a long time. There seems to be no logic at all behind the fact that some lipstick can be used on male or female models, and that certain hairstyles should be deemed "just for girls" when the tousled bard hairstyle can be used on both and looks incredibly feminine. I fail, utterly, to see the logic behind why some things are gender-locked and others are not. If any item was available to use on either gender model, people could more easily create their own middle ground, if that's what they want.
Please, ZOS, for the love of the Eight, unlock all costumables so they can be used on either gender. The architecture clearly exists already.

If I didn't have crowns to pay for the hair, the dress, the make-up, and the personality, he would not look NEARLY as feminine.
That was the absolute most feminine I could make him, and it took hours to farm that robe.

Why go to so much effort and hassle to lock items on gender specific instead of letting any char, wear any jewellery.
Seems like ZOS are wasting resources in places that it does not matter one way or another.3 -

✭While in general I like to see a huge creativity in such threads, I see also a blinking eye from ZOS. While we are not allowed to put some adornments on some races or faces for unknown reasons, definitely not technical, in a same time we are allowed to use duchess personality on all male races and characters, automatically turning them into androgyne. How it works, for or against, other players' immersion, probably nobody cares. To answer the question as to what was wrong with the picture of Bender from Futurama, the picture that was used was the character actually known as "The Gender Bender". they were mocking "professional" wrestling and the overinflated "masculinity" portrait in this sport. so in this episode the only way to kill Benders popularity was to make him mock the male gender by exaggeration of the female.
there is nothing offensive about it (unless maybe you're a die-hard wrestling fan) and i certainly didn't post the picture with offensive intent but because the threads title contained the words "gender bender" and Bender is always hilarious. that you find offense in just about anything now is sad, real sad!
