(Suggestion) Make your Max Resource apply on both skill bars

On my MagSorc, Armor and Inner Light are necessary on my bar to get my Magic up to 41k. However, those taken spots mean my back bar is full with all my other buffs and secondary damage, leaving me with the issue of losing 6,000 Magic every time i simply bar swap. This makes sustaining that much more difficult, especially at the start of a fight.

If the game just took the max resource of one bar, whichever is highest, and applied them to both bars regardless of which your resource affecting skills are placed, that would be a major convenience.

I would support this change as it would stop the annoyance of having to make sure I have specific skills on bars just for the sake of retaining a benefit in attribute values.

With the specific to Mage Light I personally would rather they just removed the whilst slotted bonus from specific skills and moved those to the passives, so we can have any X skill slotted for Y buff.

Moving stat buffs to passives is easier to manage. Pet Sorcs get hurt the most by this “slotting issue” with nearly all of their slots taken up by double-barred effects: their pets are 4 slots, Aegis is another 2, and Inner Light is another 2.

What build diversity is left with only 2 slots? Oh wait... there’s none because those 2 slots have to be Liquid Lightning and Blockade. No room for anything else unless you drop a pet...

Well, those slots is the payment for those buffs. Or perhaps the buffs are a payment for slotting an otherwise somewhat underwhelming ability, depends how you look at it...
    ...
...though personally I would really prefer to see them remove the buffs from "slot ability X" and add them to the passives, and increase abilities active effects to make them worth slotting all on their own...

Another idea I always liked was an extra slot (or two, they could sell those in the crown store, if they do not care about the pay-to-win factor of this concept) for an ability that is not part of the "active" abilities, but still counts as slotted for buff purposes. Possibly even with an "activate automatically when entering combat" feature for things like aegis and such...

Well, ZOS believes in players making choices... and if they did what OP wanted, everyone would be playing the exact same build without ever having to make any type of sacrifice through choices. You don't NEED all these things slotted, you can be successful without them... funny how people complain about content being too easy and yet they clamor for changes to make content even easier by offering more buffs. Go figure.

Yes, this is a great idea. But i would take it further and apply it to resources and damage and crits. One of the features that the developers bragged about is you can create your build anyway you want. The developers said you could make any build, well to be effective in pve or pvp you have to either go all stamina or all magika. I shouldnt have to pick between playing as a magika base or stamina base. I want to be able to do both.

You can, you just won't be as successful in certain situations.

Ive never been one to make those complaints. In fact ive been complaining about them making gameplay harder with every nerf, starting with the Proc sets no longer critting and the Great Sustain Nerf.

this would be a great idea cause you have the ability equipped already just on your second bar why doesnt it count on both.

This. The limitations of the game are there to make it challenging, and more rewarding when you win.

Please stop trying to dumb the game down for everyone else.

How is the game rewarding me more so by gimping my resource bar? I still get the same green ring and 350 gold no matter how much Magic i have.

It's not the "material" gains that make the game rewarding, it's the experience. You take the challenge out of the game, one step at a time, and you're left with nothing to do, nothing to accomplish, and the population inevitably, inexorably dies.

Limitations are a good thing, you should be working to overcome them, not to change the goalposts for your own convenience.

Yes and then destroy the already terrible balance. Here's my answer: NO.

As a pet sorc, you don't need anything besides liquid lightning and blockade.

There's a reason they force things to be on both bars.

Don't you think slotting inner light on one bar and bound aegis on another resulting in 15% max Magicka on both bars a bit OP?
