I'm not even a Templar and this was painful for me to read lol

Yeah ok, and I’m Jesus Christ
ragingruby1991 wrote: »It is absolutely hilarious reading some of the posts here defending magsorcs. Here’s what they have going for them:
1. High damage combo that is so good that magsorcs don’t even need to build into damage and can run all sustain sets (and usually do) and can still kill most targets with ease.
2. Sustain, see #1. Plus dark conversion after they just streak away after the slightest hint of damage.
3. Rune Cage - LOL
4. Incredible mobility - anyone that thinks sorcs have bad mobility are delusional. That part of the class notes a little bit ago was hilarious to read.
5. Shields - any decent player that can sustain on a sorc can just shied stack away until they are ready to insta burst you or streak away to immediately reset the fight.
Sorcs are really only weak when fighting outnumbered, and they should be. Every class should be.
I have 10 toons (a mag and stam version of each class) and magsorc is by FAR the easiest class to PvP on. Great damage, great sustain, great mobility, and great survivability with shields. They need to be weak somewhere and they really aren’t.
sometimes I have to get a target to under 25% health before they detonate, this should probably be buffed up to 50% because 25% is a bit tricky. perhaps a second execute? or maybe a passive that just deal more damage to targets under 50% health? that might be a bit OP so make it electric and physical damage only.
also on occasion targets of my rune cage are actually breaking free after a few seconds, this is making the time it takes to target all my un-counter-playable burst too narrow to pull off effectively all the time, if you could make rune cage flat out just un breakable for a more consistent gameplay experience I would really appreciate it as it would allow the enemy to just accept their fate instead of giving them the glimmer of cruel hope that they *might* survive whats about to be done to them.
. . .oh and buff shields. . .I don't have a reason for this one but its kind of an auto include.
. . .and nerf shield breaker.
2/10 for effort.
You attack sorcs and they are terribly weak. All they have is ranged execute that deals aoe damage, unblockable ranged stun that lasts 5 seconds, some mediocre shields that need to be used every 6 seconds and streak. Streak is not that good either, since it cost magicka. Just compare it to warden's netch, netch is zero cost and it also restore magicka or stamina, and gives major brutality/sorcery. Also, unlike nightblades, sorcs cannot siphon health and this make them weak in outnumbered situations. Not to mention cloak that is absolutely broken and gives nightblades unfair advantage over sorcs.
Sorc does not have reliable self heal, making templars op compared to sorcs, nor does it have great skill to purge themselves. Also, you are forced to use restoration staff to gain acess to 3rd shield, and that absolutely sux. And some new and cool sets like zaan are not sorc friendly because you need to be up to 8 meters near target for it to proc. With poor mobility sorc has, its very hard to use them.
Compared to DK sorc do not have dots and also need to use wizard riposte to gain minor maim on enemies, while DKs get that by pressing one button via choking thalons. Also, if DK has great skill like molten whip, why cant sorcs get electric whip?
Zos should really balance the game some more, it is cleary catering toward other non sorc classes.
Today a sorc rune prison’d me and went to overload so I broke free, because I had stamina from managing resources, and then killed them in a couple of hits.
TLDR: rune prison is a little too easy, but enough crying about sorcs already.

I'm sure today's patch notes is going to produce lots of tears. Tears of sorrow from sorcs, and joy from everyone else lol.

I’d doubt very much if ZOS nerfs sorcs this patch. Perhaps rune cage might (and should) recieve some adjustment, but mag sorcs will always be difficult for new or inexperience players and will always produce tears.

You are such a biased sorc troll your posts cannot be taken seriously.
And this thread isn't?
It's hard not to be a biased sorc when ludicrous threads get posted daily moaning about sorcs. Sorcs where on the back foot for a an age. 6 months of pitiful burst after Frag took its second nerf and lost its stun and yet still posts like this were raised by noob players daily.

And if you run a shield stacking Sorc, the Sload set is your fault!
