Wonder, how long 'professionals' here would think, that Slaad's has 100% proc rate?

Just because you bicker about your one point doesn't make it any more viable. People complain about Skoria's 8% proc on dots as "on cooldown", 10% on any (!) damage is nothing to complain about. 100%? No, not really. But close enough (and easy enough to proc) to not assume a considerable downtime.

Those masters bleed builds are stupid broken as well.

Got hit with a 9K bloodcraze tick recently. Wat.

Paired up with overtuned Incap and Zaan. Lights out.

    Doubt

I do not think he meant 9k tick but a 9k blood craze on his recap, which is easily possible especially on a stamsorc or stamblade. I can provide screenshots if you want but really, 9k isn't even that impressive for a stam sorc.

9k over 9 sec isn't unrealistic, I know. But what he actual wrote, a 9k tick, is simply not achievable.

With 5 piece Cheat Engine set, you too can hit 9k bleed ticks ;) Otherwise nope.

Bumping this is light of the nerf as announced on PTS:
    Sload’s Semblance:
Removed the first damage over time tick.
The damage over time effect now begins dealing damage 1 second after it has been applied.
Decreased the total damage by approximately 15% due to the removed tick.
Fixed an issue where the damage over time from this item set was removing invisibility.
Fixed an issue where the damage over time could proc itself.

This is nowhere near enough to make the set balanced.

Note that all the calculations I made in this thread IGNORED the extra initial tick, to begin with. The margins to which Sload's continues to overperform next patch will be identical to what is described in this thread—which is evidently far too much when compared to other sets!

The tooltip on Sload's should not be anything more than 500.

I really, really hope ZOS takes a good look at this thread and the numbers. Excellent work displaying without a doubt the over performance of sloads. Thank you Kal!

I like your analytical approach, but it is inherently flawed in this case as you are comparing a 5 piece bonus to a 2 set bonus.

You can't seriously expect a set which requires 5 pieces to be comparable in damage output to a single item 2 piece set and it's obvious that the 5 piece will give a more significant advantage. That's working as intended.

is the a "sorc awards assembly?"
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

    Great analysis! Thanks for posting.

Now can we turn this into a “Buff Master Daggers” thread? Because they would be a good option if they had a 1 pc bonus. Personally I would vote for 1032 Weapon Crit, since the bleed effect synergizes well with crit. But 189 weapon dmg or 1.4k stamina would be decent options too.

@S1ipperyJim I compared Sload's to Viper too... scroll down to the end of the OP.

@WrathOfInnos I actually had a thread pushing for Arena weapons (Master, Mael, etc) to receive a 1pc bonus during the last PTS cycle, because the 2Hs in particular were indirectly nerfed now that all 2Hs count as 2pcs in Summerset (link to thread). But I agree that all arena weapons could use this boost. They aren't exactly overperforming in Summerset, and a 1pc bonus would be nice to make them viable frontbar weapons again.
