Werewolf Claws of Life Dot Still AOE Capped. Please Fix. Poison Spray and Cleave too

Here is a video of Claws of Life Dot only affecting 6 of the 40-50 adds I hit. The other morph may also be bugged. Please fix before the Werewolf update.

    Isn't this working as intended? If I recall correctley, while the removal of AOE caps allow all primary affects of skills to hit all targets within range (i.e initial direct damage), the secondary affects (dots, snares, status affects, cc's, etc) still are limited to the closest 6 targets hit.

    I’ll test poison spray and talons tonight. Both have primary effects the secondary dots. The move does say “Deal x damage then x damage over time”

    Dawnbreaker is as well, so claws of life are working as intended.

    Edit: you should change the thread to "delete this", not "arrow spray and cleave are bugged too". This is how every aoe in the game functions and is how they were intended to function. It may be a bit accesive for these
    Skills to function the way you're suggesting (not to mention it would certainly create more server strain/lag).

    I would say they are bugged even if they are all reacting the same. AOE caps were removed. I would state this more of oversight then intended.

    When aoe were made undodgeable Poison Spray and Claws of life were both neglected until a few patches later. Even though they were consistent they were bugged.

    General
    Area of Effect abilities now deal full damage to all targets hit, instead of having a damage penalty after hitting 7 or more targets. Secondary effects from those Area of Effect abilities (snares, stuns, etc.) are still capped at 6 targets.

    We want to encourage more tactical group play where players are encouraged to spread out instead of stacking in a tight ball. We’re still evaluating this aspect of AoE caps, and will make adjustments in the future as necessary.

    Like I said and like the developer comment says, all secondary effects are capped. INTITIAL DAMAGE is not capped. Their wording is a bit strange as always, but the skills are all functioning as intended and this is not an oversight or a bug.

    The initial portion of poison spray is the initial hit. The dot and snare are a secondary effect.

    The initial portion of bombard is the initial hit. The root is a secondary effect.

    The initial portion of cleave is the initial hit (boosted by masters 2h). The bleed is a secondary effect.

    The initial portiion of DBOS (the direct damage portion of the tooltip) is the initial hit. The DoT and CC are the secondary effects.

    The initial portion of claws of life is the Direct damage portion. The dot is a secondary effect.

    These things should NOT apply the secondary effects to all targets without an AoE cap. Just because a secondary effect deals damage, does not mean it is exempt from the AoE cap of 6 targets on secondary effects.
