WHY patching and serverdowns in EU PRIMETIME?

Take a look at the god damn clock, and show some respect for the EU players.
This is not the first time, you take the server down for maintenance or whatever in the EU Primetime..

Its 8 o'clock PM her in most of EU.
Dinner is done, kids are in bed and its time for a little precious ESO time..
Then I log in, and get the message "Taking server down for 3-4 hours"...

WTH...

I mean, it's not like it's a seperate NA server that they're trying to make it convenient for NA users.

It's a European server. However Europe is huge stretching from like the parts of Russia all the way over to Portugal and Spain on that Peninsula. How many time zones is that? Somewhere in the world, no matter what time they choose, someone is going to be inconvenienced.

Since most of Russia's population is located in the European part, it's like 4 times zones they have to cover. No different to the US servers. And other MMO providers got it right without a problem.

    Dear Developers and Service Team,

surely you want to have a normal working day in the US with usual quitting time.
So do we in the EU. I'm home early today and enjoyed some exloration of Tamriel already but was looking forward to meet my friends tonight and have some fun in Tamriel.

But then the message struck like Assasin's Blade: Server down for three to four hours! Midnight... Work tomorrow... Bed...BAD!

Of course you want to have an excellent official start of TESO and this needs preperation, but have you even tought of all those fans in the EU, who are already bringing Tamriel to life? Woldn't it have been possible to have that Downtime three or four hours earlier or later even if that meant extra hours for some of you?

I'm very disappointed right now and hope that future downtimes of the EU server will take the local time into account.

I have lost 2 days out of 3 day headstart becaue of EU server beeing down in EU prime time. Im sure they will get the timezones corrected etc if they have any plans growing big with this game, but im wondering why offer us the early start in first place if they cant provide it? Or do they think i stay home from work and play whenever suits them? Ofcourse we want to play after work and before bed, i thought this was obvious, but i guess i was wrong. Thanks anyway for another useless evening, it makes me think twice before making a subscription for this game.

    Ivo got it right.

This early access period has been a sadistic joke for the EU players. I guess thats why we get the game so cheap over here. Oh wait, we don't...
