    it's a one-time account wide purchase get over it, for the price (£14.99) you could have got the full morrowind expansion when you had the chance.

    The base game is cheap as hell now and while it offers a subscription with some quality-of-life benefits, it's not required. Stop complaining every time a for-profit company tries to make a profit.

    By the fact that this game is still going strong after four years, yes, I'd say people are okay with it. People speak with their wallets; they don't cry like babies for free stuff on the forums.

    No, BDO is not-subscription mandatory, but there's some shady stuff in the cash shop, as I recall.

    Except all those items aren't that useful and are geenrally considered garbage.

    The potions and food are useful to people who PvP a lot, and don't have the resources to burn on consumables. The XP scrolls are useful for people who are still earning their way to 50, or grinding CP, but otherwise, are underwhelming. Once you hit the CP cap, those items are basically meaningless until the next cap increase rolls around... which doesn't actually do much for you, because you'll probably be above that cap when it changes anyway.

    Have not played many of the larger MMO titles, but f2p games like Tera had the Gunner class added for free back in my time playing that

    is charging for classes standard in stuff like LOTR and Star Wars MMOs?

    You can buy gold in WoW for real money.

    I don't know what point you are trying to make, but if you think only ESO does this, you must not be too familiar will MMO's.

    IMHO this game does things wayyyyyyyyyyyy better in terms of the store/transactions than any other game out there. NOTHING is in your face about it. If you're subscribing it's because you play enough to get your money's worth. If you're not subscribing, you're not playing enough to know what it is you're complaining about.

    How many crowns do you have? Just curious.
    I'll have to check, but somewhere around 50K I think, could be more, might be less. Way back when, I did buy the actual DLC's just in case I decided to unsubscribe.
