Transmutation + Riposte magblade is amazing in group and a solid pick for solo.
Stam dk is garbage in any scenario.

It's good at duels too. Really it only struggles in 1vX
I don't count duels to be PvP. This game is not balanced for 1v1s
It struggles in outnumbered. Not only 1vx.
But it's really good in even numbered fights. It has areas where it struggles like fighting outnumbered, but it has areas where it's strong like group vs group, and it has areas that it's kind of op in like duels. This sounds like a very good balanced class.

Stam DK is great if you’re in a situation where you like playing BGs but your Stam warden’s MMR is too high and therefore gets 30 min long queue times, so you settle for playing a class that feels similar but isn’t nearly as strong.
Yay Stam DK.

Well, mostly because all bomb-like skills are magicka-based and only NB has stealth, that allows them to get freely inside of enemy zerg?IZZEFlameLash wrote: »Anything short of bombers and healers are useless in group. It isn't mNB specific issue. And guess what? MNBs make the best bombers. MNBs are not Stamblades but they are strong in both 1vX, in small groups and large groups.

Not sure why OP hates MagNBs tho

All the rest aren't quite right.
MagBlades can be very, very powerful. Stinky and Hobb are two MagBlades that can decimate groups of pugs around resources (PC/NA/Vivec).
MagWardens can be pretty comparable to a MagDK in versatility and support if you lean more towards the frost damage aspect. (Pair Valkyn, Ysgramor, and Winterborn!)
MagDK is pretty balanced- until you add the OP factors of Sload, Incap Strike, or Bleeds. (I'm still trying to figure out why there's no magicka version of Bleed...)
I've been running into quite a few StamDKs lately who have strayed away from tanky playstyles and have become swift, dodging machines that pack a punch! I think they're just evolving beyond the stand-your-ground mindset.
