Thwarted in Summerset by the Vestige, the Sea Sloads continue their invasion of mainland Cyrodiil, aided and abetted by countless Battleground fighters and the Alliance armies.

Perhaps an army of werewolves will rise in opposition and appeal to Lord Hircine to nerf those Sea Sloads forever?

Honestly Every time there is an update there is this small part of me that is hopeful. but after waiting for over 2 years .... I am not really excited.

Also , Sload's is not that bad to me . Played all different classes and very rarely die to Sload's build .

how is it being abused?
what, because people wear it is abusing it?
i dont think so, the damage sloads outputs is weak, and it does almost no damage, if you cast purge it will remove it so, how is it being abused?

whole groups of 6-7 people only light attacking you and destroying you just with sloads for example?

Saying to purge sload is like telling someone to take a bucket of water into a burning building.

The dot just comes back, and you spend more time purging than fighting.

When I get hit by a single dot like poison injection, entropy, or flame clench, I have a new mini game to count the ticks until I get wrapped in purple goodness. Usually I don't have to count very long.

Whenever no Sload proc appears, I regain an ounce of fait in humanity. But that is usually crushed pretty quickly by Skoria.

Only two months and then people can streak away from zergs, run circles around a rock or tree to troll zergs, mist away or what means they want to escape a fight they were bound to lose.

We are talking about small scale where there are cp 500s and below who usually get 1vxed but now can stack past 25k health and stack a dot that goes through all forms of mitigation.

1. Sload's procs itself so sload's after sload's is possible
2. Infinite amount of sload's instances can be applied on one single target.
3. It breaks cloak
4. b/c of handling the 2. ,server is lagging very bad right now.
5. still, 1v1 sload's is easy, but consider an instance of multiple foes stacking sload's in GvG situation and that kills the build diversity.

edit: TLDR: the set is detrimental to PvP health and it WILL be fixed according to official news outlet.

Like many other sets introduced over the last year, Sload's Semblance presents an unfair burden to solo players. The main reason for this is that its damage type, Oblivion, cannot be mitigated in any way and is not reduced by Battlespirit.

To those who don't know -- the person I'm responding to, presumably -- Battlespirit is a buff applied to all players in all PVP scenarios that, in addition to other things, reduces damage taken by 50%. So ignoring all other types of passive mitigation such as physical and spell resistances from armor, CP damage reduction and buffs like Major/Minor protection, Sload's does at least twice as much damage as would any other damage type with the same tool tip damage. Taking other forms of damage reduction into account, it's actually much higher than that.

As Oblivion damage, it is a complete counter to block, damage shields, high resistance builds and important damage reduction buffs like Major/Minor Protection/Ward/Resolve

It also counters cloak.

As a proc set, it does not trigger a GCD.

It also has a very basic trigger condition. This makes it simplistic to apply and ensures a very high uptime as any kind of damnage can proc it.

A set that does all of these things is blatantly OP. This is immediately clear to any player with a basic understanding of ESO mechanics. It counters WAY too many defensive functions, adds high dot damage and is trivial to apply.

As it bypasses so many mechanics, it places an unfair burden to solo players -- especially when fighting multiple opponents with Sload's.

ZOS has already publicly stated that they recognize it is OP. It's not in dispute. Unfortunately, they are going to let it drag out, it seems.

it does not pull me out of stealth because i remove it with "purge"
