Combat metrics would definitely push towards elitism. ZOS is instead forcing the game towards casual gamers willing to spend money to get it all in two weeks.Combat Metrics is a must to be added to base game for both console and pc.
How does metrics push towards elitism...jaschacasadiob16_ESO wrote: »

Action Duration Reminder would be nice but I can't see the off-bar timing being put in. On bar would need to visually ensure it's a countdown on duration, not give ideas on 'cooldown'.
Combat metrics would also be nice if it could be made lighter-weight, but I know some people seem to hate knowing how much (or little) DPS they do so not sure it'll be in the base game.
There are more than 5 that should be part of the base game. Here is my list, roughly in order of importance:
Votan's Minimap
Action Duration Reminder
Destinations
Lore Books
Lost Treasure
Skyshards
Multicraft
Combat Metrics
Inventory Insight
It goes without saying that Votan's Minimap should be part of the game because it actually already IS part of the game. ZOS has just opted to deactivate their stock minimap for some reason. I don't care that they want me immersed in the game, that's great, but I also need to figure out which way to go to get where I need to go.

As to those who say combat metrics would cause more elitism, on console we already have dummy parses which are basically our way that guilds filter out people. All combat metrics and action duration reminder would do is help people who want to learn how to be better end-game raiders. I know of and help a lot of people with rotations that really want to get into raiding but cant seem to hit the "dummy requirements" of guilds. This would help immensely. I believe its one of the top 2 reasons PC has a more robust raiding scene (#1 being performance).

Advanced Filters is bloated.
Disagree on Action Duration Reminder.
Agree on the rest.
