Weakness Potion

As the game is too easy overland for vets, I think they should add some risk/reward potions to the alchemy line;

Potion of weakness - For 1 hour you receive 150% damage and deal 75% of your normal damage output. XP from kills is increased by 50%, gold and loot drops are also increased by 50%. Armor decay on death is also increased by 50%

Greater Potion of Weakness - For 1 hour you receive 200% damage and deal 50% of your normal damage output. XP from kills is increased by 100%, gold and loot drops are also increased by 100%. Armor decay on death is also increased by 100%

That way, no content needs to be redesigned. It's just an optional potion you can drink for added risk/reward to keep the game interesting. Could be a better way to farm rare motifs as well?

    Ask a newbie player to borrow their iron sword and maple bow and use them instead :)

    I am just going to start using the same reply for the countless threads discussing the same topic.

    Simplest Fix:

    Implement a hardcore character mode at the character select screen which enabled veterans to create a toon that would suffer a permanent debuff that reduces all stats by a certain percentage on that specific character.

    They could still play with their friends while enjoying the increased difficulty of "all" content.

    This makes much more sense than creating new servers or implementing some type of toggle for players which lends itself to more breakage.

    Hell ZoS could even implement new titles for those who complete certain content using said toons.

    Just a simple lifetime debuff that is applied to the character on creation.

    It's not about just being hard for the sake of it. More about a risk/reward type mechanic where the rewards increase as the risk does.

    Also, I think it's important that it can be switched on and off as the mood takes you

    But there should be a reward for tougher content....and why should you have to start a new character just to play harder content? I want to do that on the character I have spent hundreds of hours to reach this point
