Looks like oll these "yes people" just didn't played mutch MMOs. As about radical fatatics - I don't even consider them as people, because they have no arguments, only insulting and on-call phrases they used as arguments.

It's my favourite game, however it has too many technical flaws, so I would not call it best game ever. If they can fix performance I think it would at least be the best MMORPG out there.

It may be one of the best mmo's on the market (for tes fans at least) but game wise not even close to the 90-00x rpg's. And after Witcher saga it's all faded really.

If they had restricted it to just MMOs, I would have voted Yes. I have tried, and discarded, MMOs after ESO launch, and played other MMOs before ESO. There are no better MMOs on the market today, at least for me.

There are better small scale multiplayer online games, though, and Fallout 76 will probably join those ranks.

For it to be the best game ever I'd have to enjoy playing a combat system that was built with PVE in mind, which ESO's wasn't and I would be able to stay logged in without disconnecting for any other reason then an actual afk timer for a day straight.

There has not a day gone by where I can stay connected and it's a persistant issue and people give this games combat system, built for PVP first and never overhauled fundementally, too much credit. IT's the top MMO because it has no competition.

While this is the game I have put the most hours into (and I'm certainly not about to quit), the issues upon issues upon issues make it more and more frustrating almost every day. Yesterday in Craglorn I had random flashes occurring for about 15 minutes, whether standing still or moving, even after fast travelling. Like trees flashing. Even happened with a blue sky background - for a second it would look like there was something solid, then it'd disappear. Was making me nauseous.
Today it's the PS4 EU server having issues with people trying to travel to or login to Shadowfen, Coldharbour and some dungeons. I didn't have any issues personally, but I would be as frustrated as hell to not be able to access a character who was stuck in either of those zones.
Not to mention, I was getting 4 second lag on ADSL. I upgraded my internet connection the day after Summerset dropped... and I'm still getting 4 second lag.

In another thread (the one about "do we want more servers") a couple of people have mentioned that it's not the servers, it's the game's engine that's the major problem - that it just can't cope with every new content release on top of what's already there. And that makes me sad, because that means my time in Tamriel is limited. I tolerate a lot, but even I have a limit.
Seeing how there's already so much I won't ever be able to do, because of lag, because of my timezone, because of my (still comparatively slow) internet, adding to the list will mean I will quit.

The crown store and glaring technical issues remove this game from any such list. It does have potential to go from good to being a great game, but ZOS seems like they're on autopilot.

When I look at other MMOs and the new gameplay features they release with each major update, they just leave this game in the dust. The new bounty system in WoW for example looks like great fun for anyone interested in PVP.

Not trying to bash this game, because it is a good game. But ZOS needs to spread their creative wings a bit.

I mean The Witcher in general. Video games 1, 2 and 3, as well as the book series. I love Elder Scrolls, but EVERYTHING in the Witcher (lore, graphics,ameplay, story, options, design, etc.) is way better than in any Elder Scrolls. Elder Scrolls being, already, excellent.

Not even in top 3. The PvP could be number 2 next to Age of Conan if it wasn't so buggy and full of ultra lag. Age of Conan's openworld PvP was crazy fun=) Their sieges and mega battle ideas never came to fruition, after the original game director was replaced with one of the worst in mmo history.

For me the best game i ever played is

Doom from 1993 and Doom 2. I played Doom when the shareware version was released and i got hold on it in 1994. And I play both games up to today, every friday night using Zdaemon for co-op mayhem.

Yes, a lot of new games surpass these games but all those games i no longer play, but i play Doom for almost 25 years. That's worth a celebration.

But overall, if i have to choose a game or series of games which have the best stories and overall gameplay it is to hard. I will choose the original 1998 Deus Ex for PC. It is one of my favorites.

Definitely the best MMORPG on the market at this time, no doubt about it.

There are a few games I enjoy to play as much as I enjoy to play ESO but they are all singleplayers. To compare singleplayers to an MMO wouldn't really be fair.

So many would come before this , especially in the MMO genre. For an elders rolls game its mediocre. For a online rpg it's good and for a MMO I would consider it poor to fair on all fronts, content, features and emergent game play. Graphically its probably the best in the genre. But not game play

Strange question. Such subjective for what you are looking for in a game. I like the medieval setting, the atmosphere, the story and sidequests. But ESO has issues like other games/MMO´s.

LOL I've been a sub since release minus 3 months and still only have 1-lvl 50 and I got that before they (ZOS) nerfed the living daylights out of the sewers.

ESO has to be one of slowest leveling games since Vanilla WoW and every time someone finds a way to get large amounts of XP grinding thing s ZOS steps in with the Atomic bomb nerf and destroys it.

It has a few redeeming qualities but there is other games that do the same thing better IMHO.

It is the game I play when I'm absolutely positively wanting to waste a couple of hours
