    aaaiiieeeeee! too many things...
    :o
YES! It is FASCINATING how humanity went from "run away" to "come here" on the Vampire question over the last hundred or so years, I kinda love it

& there IS an interesting cultural inheritance from the Vampire Chronicles to the Twilight Series in so much as mortal people make out with Vampires in both of them and get caught up in their supernatural shennanigans.
    but!
they are telling very different kinds of stories, as others have pointed out VC deals with flawed characters going dark and deep and doing bad bad things. :D

& btw, what kind of Vampire was my friend Serana in Skyrim?

I think its too bad we can't pick for ourselves different ways for the Vampirism to portray in-game if there's so many kinds anyway... Mostly Normal with Vamp Eyes all the way to Albino Nosferatu, why not let us decide?!?

When a person’s blood stops flowing their skin gets pale or “ashy” regardless of skin tone. Vampires are undead and don’t get good circulation, hence the pale appearance.

Damn I just googled "video games where you can play a hot tanned vampire" and I was shocked at how basically nothing came up. There is a niche here to exploit!

I personally like the pale skin (i was the palest option for a Breton) but i think that if you created a really dark Redguard or a black Khajit it shouldn't become totally white. Changing it so it creates an overlay that makes you paler (but not totally white if you were very dark before) but doesn't make everyone the same shade of white would generally be a good idea. And you cant really go wrong with toggle options.

This I agree with. My dark elf looks ridiculous as a vamp, if it was an overlay he'd probably be fine.

You can have only white vampires and cant accuse zos of being racist foe making them all white because they are too lazy to give us variety and options when it comes down to looks of undead creatures in ESO.

I still think having a certain number of champion points in a particular tree will allow you to imbue the vampire with mortal (ie. standard) aesthetics.

No idea which tree but just a thought. You get to unlock it through play and getting more CPs

ha Twilight series for crying out loud have none of you ever heard of the original vampire Dracula ? Pale and totally evil. I myself like my Vamp toon to be pale I want ppl to know it is a vamp toon I like it when ppl throw mud balls at it. If you are not willing to pay the price in looks don't get a vamp bite live with your choices.

I think, that most of us, can agree that the pale white skin is a unwanted aspect of Eso's vampirism.

ZOS, if your reading this thread, please note the general displeasure with how you have handled vampires in general.

No, I prefer the extremely pale complexity.

Make it an toggable option however? Sure, make it happen! But dont remove a cosmetic custimization from those of us who love, and prefer it this way.

Choice is always better than none.

They should just let you cover up the effects of vampirism. It's well established in the lore that you can do this:

    1. You meet a vampire in ESO who uses illusion magic to cover up his appearance
    2. Lorebooks state that using illusion magic to cover up vampirism is common
    3. You use illusion magic in a number of quests to change your character's appearance or the appearance of an NPC

There are no lore reasons for why this shouldn't be a feature in the game. ZOS should sell it as a token in the crown store. It would instantly become their best seller.

It makes no sense tattoos or war paint, or makeup would get so faded out. Basically all customization apart from hairstyles and accessories is useless.

my redguard stamblade is a vamp...in pve land he wears the hallin's stand legion disguise (no head piece in the disguise) which allows him to look the way I created him...

in cyrodiil - I put on the skeleton polymorph just so I don't have to look at that fugly vamp skin...

No. It's about choice and part of the choice is you become less beautiful in ESO. Too many people want the "power" but not any of the negative stuff and the only negative stuff is visual. Not really taking any negative penalties in the game. It should stay the way it is.

Want more power take the consequences.
