Stuck in shadowy world

Dear ZOS,

I find myself in a troubling situation. After doing the quest where you head into the shadow world in the Shades of Green questline to kill the trees you normally head back to the regular, rather colourfull, living world. I however am stuck in the shadow world.

I can see players, use shrines and do everything else, except for the fact that i am contstantly in a dark shadowy world without the regular amount of colour. I have tried relogging, restarting and porting to instances, other cities and even other zones.

I have attached a screenshot showing my character near the college wayshrine on Auridon. Normally a rather colourfull place.

How do i resolve this issue?

same here, quest in greenshade took me to a shadow world, now I'm stuck in that colour scheme even after completing the quest. Any fix known yet?

I fixed the issue by heading over to Driladan pass. It seems to have something to do with the other bugged quests. I jumped down there and my colours got normal again. Bug aint fixed though cause i've had the problem after that aswell. Fixed exactly the same way.

@sam Nope, relogging, reloading UI and rebooting didn't work either.

more or less worked for me as well, going to dillidan pass at the part where you have to close the shadow rifts in the pass takes you to the same shadow world again. By porting to a nearby wayshrine from there, I left the new one and the old one at the same time.

I had the same thing, place ingame ticket and gm will solve it. At least it was just solved for me after like 10mins.

I managed to fix this.

C:\Users\"user name"\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\liveeu
find a file named UserSettings.txt and open with notepad

in there you will find the following line

SET COLOR_CORRECTION "1"

change it to

SET COLOR_CORRECTION "0"

save and exit.

restart the game and you will see the sun again and all the mist is gone

Thanks this helped a lot I finished the quest and was stuck with the dark look. I changed the setting in the file and all is well!

Changing color correction from 1-0 didnt work for me ill try that dillidan pass..and then they will be contacting me online hope they can fix it:/

Do the next quest in the chain, it also takes you into the shadow forest and and at it's completion you should correctly come back into normal colours. This happened to me doing Blight of the Bosmer and was fixed by completing Right of Theft.

Have done all the quests on that unfortunantly and have a quest to go to malabator (dont rember exakt name:)...I hope they can help me online.
