✭✭There are actual buffs that prevents players from getting back up there. You can see them on your chaacter window while staying in the safe zone. Chains, Frozen Device, Nature's Grasp etc. cannot be used to get there but Streak can be used to do so. I hope this can answer the questions of people who don't understand what is going on.2 -

Jeez, even if all would have the ability to reach this point, so what? you were ending up both in the safe zone unable to hit each other or whatever... Now all I see is someone angry at failing to gank someone and chasing him through the entire district.
Just move on, its no exploit, its just well played and he got away. Also I am glad to see that we have a little bit of class identity. Other classes can vanish or leap, sorcs can port.3 -

Yep. Animation cancelling is technically a bug in the way their combat coding and realized it's easier just to accept it as a part of gameplay than try to fix it. It's so easy to unintentionally, and can make combat feel a bit more active. If they treated it as an exploit do they'd have to ban every player in the game if it was legit considered an exploit. Accepting it was a "mechanic" is a lot easier than fixing the problem or banning over it. So it became a feature.didnt they state at one point that however anim cancelling wasnt intended they agree with the use of it and are even amazed by what some players can pull out with it?0 -

It's not an exploit to a majority of this community according to a poll that I recently had. A certain alliance on Xbox uses their population to ddos the other alliances to the point that they can't even defend anything. Getting back into the safety zone by any means other than dying is removed from the gameplay, with special buffs to prevent players from getting there by any other means.
You can't possible believe that the developers left an opening for streak to be the only other way to get back to that safety zone can you? I don't think the "dogs can play basketball because the rules don't explicitly say they can't" argument is really worth the time debating.
It's an unintended oversight obviously, and ZoS should patch it with an invisible wall or something. Player should get a 1-day suspension with an email noting why they are suspended and if they continue to exploit this they will get a longer ban.
OP should get a name and shame forum ban since they admitted they know the rules and posted this anyway.2 -

We already know your feelings on exploits. In such a case where a class advantage can be used to disable PVP with no hope of counterplay (detect pots are a thing) then it warrants a stronger measure.0 -

The OP isn't saying that using Streak to get away is an exploit.
But knowingly using it to gain access to the safe-zone that nobody else can enter is clearly an exploit.

One way walls are a fundamental core of designing FPS levels so it surprises me that they haven't already boxed every safe zone with them.0 -
