Last night I was fighting a well known ep guild on na vivec pc. I noticed that my flame clench wasn’t knocking people back. I was casting from stealth and they did not have stun immunity up. They weren’t even dodge rolling. It was just not hitting... This occurred multiple times against many people. I thought it was lag and or server synch issues, but now I am wondering because of your post.

If you aren’t seeing them roll dodge at all, odds are they’re roll dodging and the animation is buggy.
The people passively dodging stuff issue has been around long enough to think it might be roll dodges not animating.
The real question is are they bugging that out on purpose, as it always "the usual suspects" you see it happening with, or is just an artifact of animation cancelling everything (probably not manually).
Even if it is some kind of broken code i doubt ZOS can even fix it, much less identify the issue. I have no faith in that company.

Hey buddy, nice to see you on the forums. Let me just say that... You rarely get a sensible response in regards to PVP from my experience. So don't be much surprised.
On topic though... I am noticing the same lately. No dodgeroll involved, I have had people dodge 5-10 times in a row. RNG and luck is a factor but I find it hard to believe that it can happen on multiple... several occasions like that.
Speaking of cheats and cheat engine... I have seen a video that is only a couple months old (April) where a guy openly used Cheat Engine (ofc all character info cut out) to disable knockbacks/stuns, move at insane speeds, have invisibility, slow fall to take no fall damage and what not.
People are just way too naive to believe actual cheaters don't exist in the game. Not to mention exploits. There's an entire group/forum of people on the internet you can easily find where people discuss exploitable bugs and offer their cheat engine tables for real $$$.

Flame clench is the easiest thing in the world to tap block, especially when vivec is laggy.

People would be surprised at how many "pvp gods" were just using the renamed modded version of CE (and many of them are gone from the game).
As for the naive theory... I don't think the official deniers are naive. I think they are just attacking anything that would bring attention to what they are using and do.
I mean lol... even if you are the best pvper there is, there is no way you can play all day and night and on all servers. You can play this game for years and never see someone if you don't play in same time period or server. So anyone claiming they "know" there is no cheating or hacking is just talking smoke to hide where it really comes from.
Nothing's more fun than coming across that one guy who's got half a dozen people attacking them non-stop and somehow manages to evade, dodge, and block everything, and still have stamina left over. Sometimes I legit think the dodge chance from a roll "sticks" longer than it should. So instead of lasting the length of the dodge itself it just kind of lingers.rfennell_ESO wrote: »The real question is are they bugging that out on purpose, as it always "the usual suspects" you see it happening with, or is just an artifact of animation cancelling everything (probably not manually).
I believe people cheat in PVP, but at the same time there are so many bugs and server issues in PVP that I always have to question if it's just ZOS being ZOS or if the player is cheating. Most of the time, I put the blame on the servers because we've continually had consistent server problems for years now. Even on Sotha Sil, a server which is usually empty, you get questionable amounts of lag and problems related to it.People are just way too naive to believe actual cheaters don't exist in the game.
