Ridiculous.

The entire game has been broken for 22 days. In fact, it has been broken for much longer. It’s just that it’s completely unplayable now. Both PVE and PVP are dealing with serious performance issues at the moment.
It's been broken for 22 days? What have I been playing then? Seems to be ESO, but I can't be sure, since you say it's been broken and unplayable. I'm confused.Black_Flame wrote: »davidj8291 wrote: »Cyrodiil is broken for 22 days. No fix in sight.

When my trials guild is progressing end-game content and cannot complete the content we are currently on because at least one of the 12 people in the group crashes almost every single damn pull then the game is unplayable because we cannot progress further into the game.

Better yet, just stop playing the game completely and/or purchasing anything from their shop. A significant drop in player population would say a whole lot more than a bunch of people playing but not paying.
On the plus side, at least, if that happened, things would be a lot more civil on the forums and those of us who couldn't care less might be able to play the game without being told that we're losers for not being Meta.The7thLettter wrote: »If you posted any kind of complaint in this thread and have an active ESO plus subscription, you’re only allowing them to continue to not fix issues.

You don’t care? Fine. But why are you even in this thread then? This is specifically talking about performance issues affecting console players. If you’re so lucky to not have been affected by these issues then why dont you do as you say and play the game?
This is nothing to do with being meta but about people who have paid good money with the expectations of being able to play a game as it is advertised. No one here expects a miracle and for all the issues to completely disappear, we just want a stable enough game that we can play and enjoy.
Not looking to be confrontational but considering how much attention this thread has received it appears that it is a larger issue than you seem to understand.
Good day.

Good day.
Mainly because I enjoy listening to people complain constantly (I have children). These are just the same complaints that I've been seeing since I joined way back in 2015. Not everyone experiences them and, most importantly, Beth doesn't care. The game is working just fine for the vast majority of players (you know, those players who don't spend 90% of their life playing it).
While I'll admit that there are FPS drops and freeze issue, and PvP has been an issue from the very beginning, there simply has to be more to talk about than this. There just has to be!
Things will get better, or they won't. Beth is listening and doing what they can, but, obviously it is not happening as easily as y'all seem to think it should be.
The very title of this thread just pisses me off! Why should the rest of us suffer because this vocal set of people constantly has to find fault and can never, ever be inconvenienced (in a video game, no less - god forbid the bus is running late or your check is a day late - oh God, imagine the tantrum!).
Sure - go ahead take down the consoles for a week to fix problems that 90% of the actual players of the game will never, ever suffer from.
It's less than a month after the release of a new Chapter, for goodness sake. This ALWAYS happens with new releases.
Should Zeni upgrade their servers or have more servers as, apparently there are just too many active players all at once for their servers to handle, sure, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.
Could the players adjust and not ALL play at the same time (hey, I play on the EU when it's dead hour mornings over there) and experience very few issues.
But no, this group would prefer to simply remove the game from the vast majority of console players so that they can have their little PvP matches run smoothly and never have any issues when the decide they just want to gank somebody or ruin somebody's day.
Enough already. Beth is doing what it can. The game is huge for goodness sake. Not everybody is going to be happy.
So there's a few hiccups. So what? It's like that stupid phrase "Game Breaking". It's "Game Breaking" for you. Nobody else cares.
As to why I keep coming back? BECAUSE I CAN'T GET AWAY FROM IT! Y'all just keep creating more and more and more threads covering the same thing. Day after day after day; week after week after week; month after month after month; year after year after year! When are you going to get it? It is not going to be fixed. Beth has fixed everything it can and will continue to try to fix it more.
Don't expect perfection or you will be sorely disappointed.
I, for one, am thrilled that I can play this game. I, for one, could care less if I freeze every once in a while or have an FPS drop or, God forbid, there's a glitch that causes my death.
It's a friggin' video game and a pretty Great one at that.
I've played enough MMO's to know that this isn't unique to this game.
And no. I will not cancel my subscription. I like the game. I am more than satisfied with what I'm getting and, while there are issues, they're not "Game Breaking" for me.
It is my opinion and nothing more. If you don't like it and want to go off on some tirade, again, go for it.
I don't care.
To address your specific complaint?
1) performance is an issue for any game. ANY GAME. They get solved, eventually or they don't.
2) So what? You paid money. Who cares. Buyer beware. If you don't like it, don't play. 90% of us can play as advertised and put up with a few issues, why can't you? You didn't pay for the EXACT game and performance YOU want. You paid for ESO.
3) I understand perfectly well the issues and, yes, as I said, I have even experienced some of them, but, you know what? it's always the same people complaining about the same issues. Have you ever considered that maybe, just maybe you might have something to do with them?
You know, it's funny how it's usually the "ultra competitive" "meta" players that start these threads and keep them going. it's funny how these are the same people that tell you you're stupid and inept and tell you to L2P if you're a newer player that needs some help too.
I understand that this is an MMO. It's all about maximization. I get that. But the majority of us don't play that way. Considering that there are multi-millions of registered and active users and 10's of thousands of players on at any given time, we few on the forums don't really qualify as the end all and be all of players.
If it was as bad as you describe then their active player numbers would drop. Funny that. It's not happening.Black_Flame wrote: »Better yet, just stop playing the game completely and/or purchasing anything from their shop.
