So many mediocre players are able to perform at a top tier level against builds that are especially susceptible to sload's. I am really inclined to call out some of these clowns. On EU there's organised groups all running sload's and tbagging/whispering for kiting them. 3 or more sload's on my recap from different people has become commonplace.
Sload's along with perpetual lag in Vivec has made me quit PvP. If at least one of these issues is not resolved within a couple weeks, I don't think I'll return at all. I certainly won't wait for the next large update to go live.
Sorry for the rant, anyone who's been playing in Cyrodiil will be able to understand my vexation.

Sload's isn't alot of pressure at 1100 per tick, but when I combine it with the now nerfed into the glyph trash heap, oblivion glyph, a poison dot, high enough damage to put pressure on shields the pressure from the oblivion damage eats away at them while they continue to cast shield after shield. What I've noticed if they have a decent heal they can survive or turn the tables.
This is a common misconception about sload's. The dmg ticks from sload's are insanely high. A pvp build can pull around 20k dps on a dummy (very rough estimate), this gets halved by battlespirit, so we're sitting at 10k dps already.
Now take in to account that in most fights you won't be on the offensive constantly, at least 1/3 of the time is spent cc breaking, healing, shielding, kiting and dodging. We're left with. 6,7k dps.
Let's not forget the fact that your opponents can avoid a good portion of your damage by dodging or blocking it and by debuffing your damage/buffing their defense.
All things considered, you're lucky to be doing 3k dps in certain situations. And sload's is a constant almost 900 damage tick! This constitutes ~1/4 of your dps.
Alcast shows a sload's parse in a video of his, it's absolutely ludicrous.https://youtu.be/xYwEYQspgmA
If ZOS would have hide the sloads damage better by just hiding it in some form of other damage, no one would have ever noticed. Other offensive set boni also increase damage, you just wont notice it so specifically.
Hide it and the discussion is gone. 95% of death is nothing to do with sloads
