You need to buy you another hard drive you see C Drive before your personal stuff and your D Drive should be your backup for your gaming. And your program files are always going to be overloaded with updates patches even with other games. It wouldn't matter if you quit Elder Scrolls Online and go to another MMO you are going to have the same problem if you keep on having C Drive and not a extra backup Drive for your program files.

Everything is backed up and ESO is not on my C Drive, its on its own SSD hard drive with nothing else on it.

The last two times were not due to Zos with the most recent, this past month, was merely a router reset needed to be done by the service provider. More than just cycling the power.

There are many things it can be.

I have had my router reset by the service provider multiple times as well, still problems persist.

Many people keep saying they are having these issues, Some say they are having no issues, seems like a hardware incompatibility issue depending on what service provider and router you use, maybe? MMO's in the past have a back log of specific router fixes per providers, I havent seen one with ESO.

I don't have an issues playing in either pvp or pve or all the other people I see playing. I think it's on your end I know for you lot it's hard to admit your own system or connection is at fault but it's funny how many, many other people in the game don't have your issues.

really? No issues at all? In PVP?....

    What server and platform?

PC NA is performing probably as bad as it ever has. Skills, pots, ultimates, doors dont go off/ or the sound goes off and no action is taken. Many many people are seeing this. The lag ....oh the lag......and that is just in PC

......dont try to say to console users that there is no issues in pvp. That would be laughable.

What's worse is they refuse to help you with connectivity issues AT ALL if you're playing on a laptop. Even if it's a monster gaming laptop that can run anything on ultra at 60+ FPS.

Unsub until they fix it. Try not to play as long as you normally will do. Only options we have. On steam they have a bad rating, on sure its just as bad ratings on console. So thats all we can really do.

And somehow it has won best mmo of the year for 3 years in a row? Or 4?

That still blows my mind lol

Zos has deep pockets...they'd rather buy off the mmo tabloids for advertising purposes than spend money fixing the game. I mean if they can continue to recruit new players that's the goal right? At some point, and probably when newer games come out, Zos will face the pied piper and people will realize the emperor has no clothes...only then will Zos fix stuff out of desperation. But as long as people flock to this game and it remains healthy they have no incentive to fix it. Let the cash keep coming in while Zos sees us as a bunch of gaming suckers who believe anything mmorpg.com puts out for best mmo of the year award.

For PvPers a new promising game is starting its beta in a couple weeks. Either ZoS starts to show PvPers some love this fall or alot of players will move over when the game is released next year.

It sucks because in my personal opinion this really is the best mmo out there but just suffers so bad from bad servers.

I completely agree with you there. Before I came back to this I was Content playing ARK. I know its on Zenimax's end, You'd think with their E3 Boasting of 11 million players - 3 Mil More added since the end of last year they'd put some money into fixing it

11 million players, let's assume at least half, if not about 75% could be subscribers, many who are (or used to be) frequent spenders (points at self as one), yet they keep boosting prices as if they were poor and where does all that money go since the game has been in bad shape in different areas for far too long?

When do people wake up to the fact they just want money and don't care. Thank God it took me a short time to see all this as a relatively new player, already disgusted.

try deleting Steam version from steam and then re-installing your steam version. Sometimes these files are older and need to be updated.

Its simple stop giving them money. Don't pre-order DLC anymore, stop subscribing, don't log in but once a month to see if its fixed and if its not then don't log in for another 30 days.

take away the money and you watch how fast they jump on this and fix it... but until then they laugh at you all and keep accepting your money.

There is definitely something a miss since summerset dropped... I'm guessing its all the Zos malware hidden away similar to that redshell garbage so busy doing crown store meta data making their game run like a one legged dog..

Thats because the others are so bad it makes ESO look good... Being the best of the bad means you win crap these days...

Any time I've ever had problems playing ANY game, the standard response is "have you checked your connection". That happened in my Assassin's Creed days, where you'd get runs of not being able to connect to the MP servers, where before that everything was just fine. Laggy, but fine. Got pretty tiresome explaining over and over that "I HAVE NOT changed anything on my end!"

Hello, yes....could I get you to disconnect your Ethernet cable from the back of your Router n from the wall socket and flip it round so that you are now plugging the end from the wall into the Router and the end from the Router now connects to the wall...are they now fastened securely? Yes? Good...now please test your connection again...

Long story short...method employed by IT to ensure the Ethernet plugs were actually connected...lol

I had a reply from support. There is a known bug with message rate limit and they will fix it in a future patch. However they will tell you to go through all the other steps like connectivity etc to make sure that's not the issue since the known bug isn't affecting everyone.

Here's the thing. It may not be immediately on your end, but that doesn't mean it's 100% ZoS either. If other people aren't being kicked then the server isn't probably the issue either.

I work in IT and do Terminal Server support so essentially it's the same setup. All of the time our clients who connect to us from all over the world will have issues connecting to the server. Rarely it's 100% their side or ours. It's normally a hop or two somewhere in the middle that goes down and drops them. They will say the same thing that other people aren't being disconnected. Well no they aren't cause it's not the server, their connection or yours, it's a backbone issue between us.

While we will work with the provider having the issue to try and get ETAs and offer what assistance we can there isn't much that can be done. Some times the connection comes back and is stable, other times it's not and they will experience more drops.

The problem then comes in with it's normally AT&T, Verizon, Hurricane Electric, Comcast etc...major multi billion dollar companies you can't exactly strong arm and yell out to just fix their S*)*. What do they care. They are paid billions a year for the rights to use their backbone.

Now, if the rest of the server, or everyone in your instance or dungeon etc is getting dropped, then yeah ZoS needs to try and figure it out. Again though if it's just you it's your connection or more likely something in between you and the server.
