Magplars have some good skills and some good passives aswell as some absolutely god awful skills and passives ,just like every class, but they have zero class cohesion and thats why i agree with ya.
Magplar is still pretty decent , more so considering the fact the majority of players play grouped up or zerg. Magplar shines in that environment.
Magplar starts to struggle in solo play, the amount of truly solo players is minuscule though. Sure the class is clunky, lacks a good cc, and could use a change to rune but it’s not as nearly as bad as people make it out to be.
If anything the issue is it’s just a shadow of its former self and feels uninspired.
Magplar just needs help in the +Fun Department. More fun, less blah lame skills. That Restoring Light Ultimate is just caca when compared to what other people get. Templar needs help. We all know it. My Stamplar is trucking along pretty well lately but there are style issues that bother me. Magplar though the style issues and playstyle makes me want to vomit. Its a class I want to love most but I find the most annoying to play. Nails on the Chalkboard.

It requires a little more work than some classes sure. I blame that on sweeps being so clunky and having to build to sustain more than any other class.
Your house needs to be a mobile home. Feel like I made that comment in another thread a while back. Regardless, you can't just stand there and absorb damage and heal anymore.
Tri-faction tryhard but mainly EP in Gray Host lately (PC/NA)
If you want a decent house, you gotta pay crowns for it!
Minalan owes me a beer.

Woody Ron - Stamplar - DC
Aidee - Magsorc - DC
Notadorf - Stamsorc - DC
Khattman Doo - Stamblade - Relegated to Crafter, cos AD.
You should accept the fact that killing capabilities is low. High potential but in practice you are too clunky to be a real damage dealer. On the other hands, you are useful for your group, right?

How about we dont call it a house anymore, since its not stable or strong at all and should be mobile like....like a tent. We set out tent and move away to rebuild it. Its fragile and weak, but at least we can move it and place it down again whenever we want. Templars dont need a house, they just need a frigging tent made of steel.
Things to give you an edge in BGS as magplar:
-Channeled Acceleration (the only reasonable solution to our lack of mobility)
-Time Freeze (can be used to pop people out of stealth, letting you change to Extended Ritual Morph instead of the dot, which basically makes you immune to the Sload's meta)
-Valkyn Skoria (I don't think I need to expand on this one)
-Frost Staff (root people and get to jabbin')
-Structured Entropy and Reflective Light (Major Sorcery, Major Prophecy, 2+ dots for Skoria proc, and 5% max health)
It's a pain becoming viable for 1vX, even harder being competitive, but there are ways. If you don't find it a good fit, you can alwas go SPC/Trans/Troll and basically guarantee wins for your team.
