Players kicking from vet dungeons

Arrggh LOL. I know coming on here changes nothing, but i need to vent and i feel like i want people to know. Shame we can't name players because i feel like these mongrels deserve to get ripped. But i cant remember their names so it doesn't matter.

Twice today ive been kicked from the Vet Cradle of Shadows dungeon using dungeon finder. Once during the Velidreth boss fight. I died once.

And literally just now from some CP 400 guy who voted to kick someone else before the Khephidaen boss fight for no reason. I said no, lets be team players. I fight the boss and they join in. The guy who got voted to leave quits the dungeon willingly and then after carrying the remaining 2 through the boss i say GG, then i get kicked for no reason. I invited them to party at the time and they never joined. Wonder why? :S

Why are players like this? lol. I wish you could report them for stuff like this because it really annoys me and i want their blood haha.

I want group leader next time ^-^!

You're surprised? I'm not. It's a big reason I gave up on group content, especially Veteran content, long ago.

There should be a system that shows how much of a team player they are and how many kicks players use etc. i wanna know who is safe to play with. sorry to hear you feel that way. its a shame that the actions of others leave us like this and nothing can be done.

Joining a guild with active players is your best bet. The types of people you occasionally find in GF that kick other when little issue has been displayed, as you describe, are not exactly the best players to begin with. They just tend to blame others for their short comings.

He may be in the 400's, but what was his ego level?

Sorry you had to go through that. I have been doing vet dungeons in random groups quite a bit lately. I have only ever been kicked once, when I was a lower level. The reason were justified though, as I was not holding my own. Made it to the end before being voted to be kicked. When I'm in a group with someone and it's a DLC dungeon I'll watch how you play. I could care less what your CP is; if all you're doing is spamming snipe, heavy attack or endless fury I'll kick you if it's a DLC dungeon. A lot of people come on here to bash people for getting kicked, but unless you post a video of the run I'm going to assume that you deserved it.

It seems like most of us are afraid to group anymore because of folks like that. You have no idea how I would like to run about with a few people (it would make a support magplar a lot more fun), but, inevitably, when I try I get that a**hat. Now I just run solo, give vicarious support sometimes and die a lot. :(

And when, pray tell, do normal people have all this time? I'm only level 27 in regular play and I've been at it for 2 weeks, 3 hours a day! And it slows down after 50! Oye! I'll never get another character up in the 100's of CPs! Never!

    Me so sad now... :(

I totally get what youre saying and i was waiting for someone to mention the spam snipe. Im aware it is not productive and the dps rate is garbage if you spam it. But ive been playing since the launch on xb1. Been there done that. Im not a scrub anymore and if you were spectating youd see it was completely unjustified. I know how to play, and i know how to be a team player, the group members didnt. I carried them through Khephidaen.

Good question. I didn't think "Watching" was all that helpful in a dungeon. I thought actually participating was. Of course, if we're talking about the IC, I do sometimes like to hide in a high dark place and watch the action going on below. It doesn't get me anything but jolly's, but, I do enjoy it.

Solution is either max out your CP, or look for friendly guild, that does lot of PvE content. It is very unlikely that anyone kicks anyone out of guild groups.

Unless you just don't learn and can't do ***.
    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

Nightblade-Hipster. I played Nightblade before it was cool - from 1.5 onwards.

Just remember it likely has nothing to do with you.
Some players are so delusional on how "perfected" they and their (randomized) team should be, it's rather entertaining to see how emotionally driven and irrational they become when they breakdown, only to realize, things aren't perfect.

So who is there to blame?
Making you seem like the problem is their way of venting.
I call it gaslighting as many are convinced that they are.

    However, like with any Narcissist...
Pity them silently, for they are broken people.

Looks like op is kicked for language rather than skills. Happened to me b4. I kick low skilled players. I don’t kick decent players that show sympathy for low skilled players. I always try to convince the unnecessarily nice guy to kick, and never kick the nice guy after kick noob. I have seen twice forth guy in group wanted to kick nice guy after kick noob. I don’t understand this.

Without knowing exactly what happen an accurate response is not possible.

I'm not implying you're lying or anything, but "I died once" doesn't tell me anything other than you died once.

    To what ? How ?

Was it a core mechanic ?

Velidreth has mechanics to prevent people from ressing other players, and while it's true you can bash her, you can't possibly control all the adds and avoid they shied bash, fear, etc, you while ressing.

As a rule of thumb it's easier if you just don't die, so, it's reasonable to assume that someone may have thought "This guy doesn't know the fight" and jumped the gun.

Again, without knowing exactly what happen, it's impossible to formulate a decent answer.

What I can tell you is that there are a number of jaded people queuing the GF that rather than give a player the benefit of the doubt they just go for another shot at getting a group member.

Sadly, the GF is also filled with people running dungeons for the first time, or players queuing casually, without the intent of giving their best, and that, in turn, makes some other decide not to even try.

On the other hand you also have a number of players convinced they're the Gods' gift to the world, and try to kick group members for what they perceive to be a lack of experience/skill (e.g. died from mechanic, tries to kick the healer for not doing their job).

There's a vast array of characters of players in mmos, and some are bound to be asses.
Some may have a very reasonable reason for doing what they do.

There's also the distinct possibility you were just missing a piece of information regarding a specific mechanic. I've been playing the game for a couple years now, I have all the vet dungeons related achievements, and yet I still manage to find things I didn't know before.

Again, I'm not assuming it's the case, I don't have enough information to say that, but the possibility exists.

    Hope this helped.
    Have a nice day.

That charge attack? You mean her heavy attack? The only person facing that should be the tank...and if you are tanking, you do NOT taunt the ads in that fight except maybe the atros if you can handle them. A tank who taunts the little ads makes that fight HARDER, not easier since it draws them into her cleave attack, making it very difficult for melee DPS to kill them ASAP. As a tank, I only taunt her and the atros and let the little ads do whatever...otherwise it ends up killing you, and a dead tank is no use to anyone in that fight...not to mention hard to rez. All the ads in that fight have CCs and if you taunt them, eventually one of their CCs will incapacitate you and Velidreth's heavy attack will kill you...the only time this doesnt happen is if you can perma-block....and running out of stam perma-blocking in that fight is insta-death as well.

Why are you so interested in watching other people in the dungeon? Shouldn't you be fighting/healing/tanking? When I'm in a dungeon, I'm too busy to "watch" other people.

I can do a rotation with my eyes closed. Paying attention to the behavior of my teammates while performing my own task is cake.

Good for you! Not everybody are or can be as capable as you to play a game with closed eyes...so don't expect everybody else to multitask as well as you seem to do...

Im not a tank so i didnt queue as a tank.

Maybe they thought you did? How can you go all the way through that dungeon without there being an obvious tank? I will bet there were multiple deaths on Dranos. Every time I pug that place the DPS are constantly not interrupting the pinning ads and I have to eat Dranos's heavy attack...luckily I make sure I am at 50k health before being pinned and survive anyway...but that fight has to be a real pain without a tank.

if they pulled up the group tab itd say who was tank dps and heals. so unless he had a shield or a star instead of a torch he was a dps.
