Isn't Psijic body tattoos..a body tattoo compared to skin it has less usage. ( Doesn't hid vampirism)
I don't think it's a ripoff. They don't even look that simular. If something here is a ripoff it's the ebony epidermis skin from crown store and the new z'maja shadow skin. They're fairly simular in my opinion.

They are both blue body tattoos. The only differences is that one glows and has a different pattern. And is more noticeable. My whole point really is that the one that takes skill to get should be the one that glows or is more noticeable.
Tbh. I love the psijic tattoos, but I personally think the Scalecaller skin is better. I’ve seen people wear them together. Which looks pretty awesome.

But the actual skin is a skin, and adds a somewhat white layout over your character. The tattoos glow, yes, but they don't represent the effort you put into clearing the dungeon.
That the Scalecaller Peak skin is so subtle is the very reason many players like it. It is the closest we can get to hiding vampirism. A feature that many people are wanting for a long time.
Well skins are like titles for me - they only matter to the one that use them. Most ppl I know don't care at all what the person next to you is wearing.
I get your point but I wouldn't care. The important thing is to know for yourself that you can clear the content and don't expect others to care.

That's a really grown-up and mature way of looking at this situation. I guess it would be nice to literally have 0 ego like you but we are only human. I WANT others to see it and be jealous. That's how i felt when i was bad at the game and saw others with skins. It motivated me to earn them for myself. That may be a personal flaw but that is how i feel about it.
I just know that the first time i saw someone running around with the Psijic tattoos and the master wizard title it left a bad taste in my mouth looking at my non-glowing blue tattoos that I had to actually work for. And there are others in my guild that feel the same.

Bleh... this thread boggles the mind.
You are seriously upset that people have a tattoo that is "cooler" than your skin... which you can also wear...
I have always hated the notion of "it sucked for me, so it has to suck for you".
If it is really a problem with "but they didn't earn it" then where is the rage on the factotum polymorph?
"Your toy is shinier than mine, it's not fair" whaaaaaaaaa!

Lmao. If someone feels jealousy over an inane cosmetic in a game, they have more pressing issues than some damn in game skin and tattoo clashing. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but like yourself no doubt, no one cares more about what you have than what you care about what i have. A kick in the nuts no doubt, but it's the truth.

Whether or not you place value on skins, the developers do based on how difficult the achievements are to get them. Many players value them as well. Just because you do not does not give you the right to jump in here and be condescending.

I believe it does.
You state your opinion. I state mine.
Not condescending, just depressed at the things people get upset over.
Also, I never said I don't value the skins (re: factotum polymorph). My issue lies with people wanting to condescend to others "because they didn't earn the right to look cool".

They still go in the same place on the body and one looks way cooler than the other...
They are far from being the same.
vSP does not glow. The pattern is different. It's a skin which means it covers the entire body in one go. It can be worn with a body tattoo and does not cover it. It changes the skin tone making mortal players look paler than usual and vampire players look mortal, having human eyes but still looking somewhat pale.
The mystic tattoos (or however they are called, I admit I don't own them yet) ate tattoos. They do not change your original skin tone. They come in face tattoo and body tattoo meaning you can choose to wear one or both. They can show under other skins which reveal the original flesh such as the vHoF skin, or the Amberplasm skin if you want to look like a walking neon sign.
Personally, I think the glowing tattoos are far too gaudy to be taken seriously. I'm under the impression they are meant to represent the pinnacle of psijic knowledge/rank. Instead most people I see wearing them run around with the nordic towel, barely clothed at all and looking nothing like a dignified member of the psijic order. At night it's even a wonder they don't find themselves swarmed by moths seeing as the glow is just that intense. IMO it looks extremely out of place. If it was just a few glowing strokes here and there it would be fine. But as it is, to me it screams 'walking neon sign', look at me!!'. Of course that is just my opinion.
So between the two of them, I'll go with the Scalecaller skin every day. Yes it's harder to obtain. But it's a lot classier than the tattoos.
