How To remove a large bounty

I once got a bounty of say 2k in alikir.
turned at lekis into a room expecting combat.
was full of praying acolytes.
clicked wrong key
fight started
they all went red
slaughtered the whole lot then looked at bounty and said "time to go run an alt."

but 100k+ no idea how that happens.

Coldharbour, as someone previously mentioned, is one of two places in the game you can go to use a fully functional bank, use merchants, crafting stations, and cooking fires. The other is Eversea, which is accessed via the Mage's Guild once you're far enough along on that story line.

1,500 may seem big, but try being the people who just dont care and get bounties in the tens of thousands. No im not making that up either.

OP, the Hollow City in Coldharbour is outside of the justice system and there are tons of containers to loot there.

Also, if you go to Cyrodiil, there are a lot of containers in the home base of the alliances, along with the items in the towns.

But as others have mentioned dungeons inhabited by bandits have tons of barrels and crates as well.

You can easily level provisioning while staying on the right side of the law.

There should be a bounty for necro of a 2 year old thread. Especially one that hardly got 2 pages worth of interest to begin with.
