Should we be able to reset individual skill morphs instead of all?

Some skills change over time and some morphs will become better that others. Other times if someone wants to switch from DPS role to Tank role and only needs 1 or 2 skill changes but has to reset all just to change a couple.

That would make sense, but as with many improvements to the UI that would make sense, ZOS is unlikely to implement it.

I mean, we still cant search for specific items in the Guild Stores...

Morphs need to remain with a barrier in place regarding resetting them. This encourages thought before action.

TSW (The Secret World) MMO had some great features but one of the most amazing was they had an in game system where you could create setups and save them. I think the first few were free and you could buy more from the cash shop.

In your setup you could put in your active skills, passive skills, gear and even cosmetic looks and save them. Then with one click as long as you had the gear in your inventory you could change.

"Do we need a tank for this?"

Press one Button. "Ok, I am ready to tank."

"Sorry no actually we need a healer."

"No problem." Press another button. "Ready to heal."

You could save a build for DPS, tanking, healing, PvP, Thieving, Farming, Solo, RPing, etc.

If this were for sale in the Crown store I would buy it.

I guess the point would be tedium and clinging onto a verbose system.

For resetting morphs? Yeah, thought should be going into it. I know that right now there are a handful of builds, and FoTM changes a lot, and a feature like this would make it easier to get to the FoTM lickity split. Still, the mechanic for resetting them all is sound because it does require that some thinking be done to decide if it is worth it.

As for changing character modes, per TSW, this should be base game, not a Crown Store thing, if implemented.

Skill morphs, yeah, all skills, no. It would require absolutely zero thought put into picking your skills, especially around crafting. Might as well combine all of the crafting skills into one skill if they do that.

I agree with this - why should all skill points be removed upon resetting?
I always screen shot my bars before I reset skills or morphs but it would be easier if you could just remove points from one skill/morph and allocate it elsewhere, just as CP.

That's a mighty slippery slope there, R U OK? Video games shouldn't be expected to teach players basic life skills like "think before you act" and "don't stick a fork in the electrical outlet".

No, but RPG’s inherently have critical thinking problems, it’s the genre. Want easy, go with a FPS, not a game that has puzzles built in.

That's just pedantry. I'd rather a player be able to remorph their force pulse to crushing shock instantly when a raid situation calls for it. Not everyone is here to RP as a genius.

I’d like to instantly have gold to buy something in guild stores every time I see something I want, I don’t want to RP as a banker. It’s part of the game.

Yes what not a solution similar to the CP system :
    1. You claim for a remorse
    2. You select what you want to change
    3. You apply/cancel the change and be charged accordingly

Yes!! Absolutely! Some applied skill points are only useful for a limited time such as reduced research times and other skill points should be easier to toggle situationally such as various morphs that are better for pve and their counterparts that are better for pvp and such.

I think it’s comig at some point, this is a request they’ve been aware of for a long time. I’d also like to see two presets for CP points that don’t cost anything to switch to allow change between dot/direct damage in PvP or PvE and PvP. It can get really costly.
