ZOS_HoldenCommunity RepWow, you're all so polite! Most of you seem to prefer giving the other person the chance to harvest a node first and those of you that don't make sure to not get worked up if you don't manage to click the node just a bit faster than the other person.
You've all got such great node etiquette, and we're glad to see you're being excellent to each other!

I wish i’d Get as much ancestor silk as I get rubidite ore and ruby ash wood. The silk just seems so scarce no matter where I am. I found a ton however, in Bleackrock last night. I decided then I would never be that guy.
If I see someone else near it and that they want it or seem like they might want it, I let it go.2 -

My go to is Eastmarch, start at jorunns stand and head all the way west to Fort Amol in basically a straight line, then back. Mutiple condensed groups of silk nodes, plus random ones in between0 -

I usually try and click 1st but that usually fails 90% of the time due to old age and fingers that no longer work as intended lil. Striken7✭✭✭If someone is obviously going to get there before me I just skip it, otherwise I'm only wasting my own time. Like someone else said though, there is no "at the same time" - one person is always first to click it. I don't get personally offended if it's not me, I just move on to the next one.
Don't steal a node from someone fighting a mob though, that just makes you a jerk.2 -

I find this post oddly annoying. I'm like, you're the ones that made it competitive in the first place.
And the original post title is when we arrive at the same time. It didn't mention the reality of when you are engaged with the nearby mob and some $&-& takes the node because you're in combat.
Yeah, we're all "excellent" to each other then... *Notes death threats*1 -

✭If I'm farming in an area where 1 or 2 other people are also farming, as long as they haven't been trolling me, or acting rudely, I will let them have the node and I'll just move on to the next. Or, if I know a chest is about to spawn (or should have spawned) nearby, I'll let them have the node and I will dash for the chest. That being said, I usually try to go in a different direction from the other people farming to try and create physical space, so I don't often get to a node at the same time as someone else.Edited by Maryal on June 16, 2018 8:35PM0 -

And yes. Not getting worked up about the small stuff makes the game a much nicer place for everyone involved! And life healthier for us gamers who often have to watch our blood pressure anyhow thanks to lack of other exercise...

Malacthulhu✭✭✭✭I rarely have it happen for the reason that when I farm, I focus on one thing that I am after for the reason that I want alot of it and want plentiful harvest to proc only on that particular thing, leaving a lot of other types of nodes behind and whatever else except for chests etc.Xbox One Na0
